I wish they didnt make renji the vegeta of bleach.he had so much potential to be an awesome character but he loses every fight :’(
I honestly think Renji is going to play a (somewhat) big part in this Arc for 2 reasons.
- He is still receiving special training in the Royal alace.
2.(This is a bit of a strecth) I think he part quincy or his Bankai is special. Think about it, when he was fighting As-Nodt the same blue lines appeared on As-Nodt arm are similar to the ones that appeared on ichigo’s neck when Juha attacked him.Also when Renji was about to release bankai he was blindsided.
Renji will job less than everyone else after this until Ichigo comes back and throws Renji back into his rightful place as most useless character ever.
Renji will be jobless for 1 more fight (dirty boots was the recent non jobbing) then get jobbed again.
Fixing his sword won’t make him any more meaningful than he already was. Which wasn’t much.
as for Boobies: Kubo is still rejecting her from Bleach existence.
Yuzu and Karin gets Quincy powers. Then they are never to be seen again for another 200 chapters.
I wonder how Yuzu (or was it Karin?) got her sword then. Then again, who cares? She’s useless.
Dirty Boots was filler…that was in the manga…but filler nonetheless…so he’s still the ‘head jobber in charge’.

Hoping to see Isshin’s and Aizen’s Bankai somehow.
Why the hell would Aizen interfere? Isshin wasn’t going to win no matter how bad he wants to break plot armour. And if he knew Aizen was involved in this why didn’t he tell anyone ?
Isshin knew Aizen was involved when he said “You talk too much Aizen” back in the FKT battle.
Aizen knows of Isshin’s power levels (as a fellow captain partner) and that he is a serious threat to destroy this hollow and doesn’t want to see his creation destroyed just yet (FGT here plus remember what a single finger did to steroid Aizen back in FKT)
As for why Isshin didn’t tell, we’ll find out but even more interesting the little detail of the 13th division area (Ukitake) supervision. Plus, he is here on his own unsanctioned.
I find it super interesting that Aizen, Gin and Kaname are using Kisuke’s stealth cloaks which he praised back in the Pendulum chapters. I wouldn’t be surprised if Kisuke and Yoruichi joined the action here as well…maybe even the Vizards.
Good chapter, though personally, I’m more interested in what that Gemischt thing with Katagiri means. :o
