Came in to post Empire King looks like Zangetsu but saw I was beaten. wtf? and yes, these Quincies all look like Aizen.
Their resemblance either has something to do with the story, or Kubo has run out of character designs. I’m leaning towards the latter.
Anyone else think the guy who got his arm cut off was meant to be alot like Byakuya? I’m calling a fight between those two.

I mean, yeah, but for those 17 months that Ichigo was without power, they could have had Rukia or Ikkaku or Yumichika or even fat-fuck Marechiyo out there and it would have been better than afro-san.

No. They’re not from Soul Society. Also, they don’t do the job. However, if you want to count them, why does Soul Society send anyone at all? Why not just ask Urahara/Tessai/Isshin/Vizards to guard the place? I mean, it makes sense since they’re all on speaking terms again.
Arrogance maybe? Like their weakest soul reaper is better than any human with any sort of spiritual powers. Or maybe they are just cant afford to send their best to guard the place when new threats keep popping up?

Not really. Out of the 4 humans he was head badass while Ichigo was powerless.
Actually, yeah I can dig that. I think it is mostly arrogance. I mean, first episode, they sent 3rd Seat Kuchiki to the real world. Now they send random ass shinigami from no particular squad? lol.
I just thought of something.
I like how they played Rukia disappearing in front of Ichigo all dramatic and stuff when he was losing his powers. But couldn’t she and the other Shinigami just go in their Gigais if they wanted to see him again?
