I have absolutely no issue with Bleach continuing for another 10 years. He’s started to plug some holes, as long as he keeps going that will be fine.
Still gotta see Urahara and Aizen’s bankai at the very least.

Pretty sure that interview is old, Kubo was talking about Bleach going for 10 more years and such at the end of the fullbring arc. Maybe this is a new interview and he’s restating that, but i’m almost positive these were things that were put out in an interview early this year.
Edit - Yea after re-reading im positive this is an old interview. This was kubo talking about his plans after the Arrancar arc. If i remember right all these statements are combined from interviews before the fullbring arc started and then after as well.
The “last 2 arcs” Are the fullbring arc and then the current “final” arc. So we’re already 2+ years into this 10 year plan.

According to Kubo, that’s the plan. The 1000 year blood war arc is supposed to be the arc that ties up every loose end and gives us all the answers. I can’t say id be that surprised if this takes 8 more years to do heh.

At least we know it will end. The longest running manga currently has been ongoing since the 70s. Imagine if you’ve been following it since the beginning.
Battle Angel has been going on since 1990 and because James Cameron is focused on Ferngully 2 and 3, now with more blue elf hair sex we’ll probably never get a Battle Angel live action.

I was gonna say Golgo 13, but a quick check on wiki says this is the longest running manga with the most chapters. Golgo 13 apparently started in '69 so that does make it older at least.
