…Well, this chapter was hella random, including the blatantly fan-service-y chapter page, but it at least established some things, including the stuff that Muff Daddy is guessing at and Kuwabara Presley’s actual name.

With regards to the Spirit King, of course he’s immensely shady. Unless he’s as powerless or as weak as Kon, and I’m including being unable to leave his palace here, he is not good.
Think about all the shit that’s gone down in Bleach and generally how at least three different dimensions are full of and run by assholes in addition to being out of balance. If he were good and powerful, then there’s literally no reason he wouldn’t have just swooped in with his supposedly elite bodyguards and, at the very least, crushed Butterflaizen after Aizen beat everyone else & Ichigo seemingly disappeared for a bit.
So he’s either relatively powerless/trapped, evil, an idiot, an asshole, apathetic or a combination thereof (just like how God would to be in real life if he actually existed).

Now we know about the Urahara’s healing spring. There’s another thing I don’t think was ever explained, but I assume Urahara keeps Ichigo’s human body in a preserved state so it doesn’t rot whenever Ichigo’s in his shinigami form. Kon obviously isn’t taking care of the body right now since he’s inside the plush doll. I’m actually surprised whenever Ichigo returns to the human world he isn’t arrested for sexual assaults due to Kon’s actions.
Actually Urahara probably just gives Ichigo’s body a proper mod soul and it just chills at the base.

Honestly spirit king might really not give a fuck at all.Aizen steps into his realm he could snap his finger and body him in seconds juha and crew can’t hang with his goons either .Why care about the world when you have an appointed group of elite killers to regulate shit for you with very strict and black and white guidelines .Nigga is in a whole other dimension .Juha can get dealt with but they would rather use the Gotei because that’s what the Gotei is for.But the only way for that to happen is an anomaly like Ichigo who defys all logic.
