Bleach Thread 5.0 - MANGA IS FINISHED! Announcement is a Bleach live action movie lmao

cue zangetsu time + healing talk

If it was, it sure as hell isn’t anymore.

His fight with Ginjou seems to suggest that, but as Saitsu said, if it was the case it is not anymore or at least for a while until the next shonen upgrade

 I don’t think the thread can handle that much salt. We’ll be seeing dead snails on the ground for months.

-Starhammer-

I am the leader of the Aizen Party (well…the Dragon to Aizen himself). I will take the brunt of it…I can take it. But it won’t happen. Because he’s Aizen.

not bodied. Just jobbed like 3 fodder trash.
so…i’m just going to assume Kira is straight dead? No mention of the guy at all with the reports. If so, what a fucking horrible way to kill a actual interesting character that got no development. His Shikai was boss and we have no clue of his bankai if he is dead. But whatever.
As for Aizen…I dunno why people hate on people liking the guy. It’s better than liking the main hero. At least this guy gave no fucks about the heros and trolled them to death by actually being a villian.
Hikifune is clearly the hot chick on the right. They all look like regular people though. Not too much of a threat. Can’t wait to see how Kubo will get them jobbed for no reason.
and I def see some fullbring playing apart in Ichigo either getting his sword back to how it was or better + quincy BS after he goes through some sabbatical bullshit on his quincy history.

^ Captain Milf gonna look even better with her hair unbraided.

hair tentacles?

Thanks what is that from btw? And are there more?

So when are peeps going to say Kon is the soul king?

I would fly to Japan and light Kubo on fire.

It’s from an omake that was released before the final arc.

But he didn’t have a bankai. I imagined it would be a way to control gravity, maybe in a dome/area like with that blind captain’s bankai. Then I realized even though it would look cool, a stronger opponent would just overpower it using reitsu and he’d look like an idiot.

Still, his shikai is interesting. Definitely not OP like many of the captains, but IMO top tier in the beginning when we first saw Shikai’s and how they were designed (Renji’s sword and Ikkaku’s spear/3-sectional staff would definitely lose to Kira).

It’s actually pretty plausible given the evidence and what Aizen said. Here my theory.

It wasn’t a moral plea, like the spirit king was some monster, I don’t really think Aizen would care if the spirit king were a monster, his question is based off of intellect which seem to point to the ruler of Spirit king being an idiot or weak or both, which I think Aizen would have more issues being ruled by than a cruel or crazy uber powerful real monster of some sort.
Then theres the random reappearance in SS, which makes no sense at the same time the zero squad shows up.
And the random reference to himself as the King of New York, which while old… I mean when is the last time hes actually used that term?
And again why is a modified soul inside a living world stuffed animal in Soul society
It explain why Urahara who wasn’t even a captain until the last Zero squad member was promoted has seen the spirit king.
The major flaw is if Aizen knew/knows then why he wouldn’t have immediately gone after Kon after leaving SS?
Its a mountain of circumstantial evidence but its not just pulled completely out of my ass.

What if all it is is just fan service since the manga is going to wrap up? Whoa, I just blew my own mind…

Maybe the Spirit King is a little kid.

(Yeah, I kinda thought Kon’s random-ass apparence was Kubo throwing people a “bone”. Not that it can’t have further implications, but given Kubo’s work thus far, even if Kon’s reappearance leads into something more, that doesn’t mean it won’t be stupid as hell.)

Yeah, Zero Division’s appearances were…lackluster, and I say this as someone who reads and likes One Piece. It was pretty much to be expected though after all this “hype” of them. Now I’m really confused though: Who the fuck rescued Ichigo in Hueco Mundo?

Given the way that Bach was talking, it seemed like he was under the impression that Ichigo freed himself from Kirge’s cage. If that’s the case though, then who the hell is the guy that showed up and was heavily implied to have stabbed the Vanderreich that was controlling the Science Division into stabbing each other? I was under the impression that person was Hikifune, but now they’re not supposedly and we still don’t know who they are. I guess it could be Isshin, but it seems like Ichigo would have mentioned that by now and considering it’s been like three months IRL since Kirge got murdered in the first place…

Bah. This is as bullshit as the sudden “Bankai stay broken” reveal.

waits for Hecatom to say something about how I can’t have faith in Kubo despite the fact this Bankai thing should have been revealed much earlier considering how long ago Renji’s Bankai got busted up even if only Mayuri knew

Haha. I thought the same thing about the Chang-Gouken thing. I also thought about Wan Fu (?) from Samurai Shodown due to the “Heavenly Pillar” they arrived in.

It’s impossible to tell and even if everyone was still alive, it would still be best to follow Muff Daddy’s advice just ignore the hype. As it is now, though, there are just way too many qualifiers.

Solid Kyoraku: “These five combined are stronger than all of the Gotei 13. …Of course, I only get to say that after Yamaji, Gin and Kaname died, Kenpachi and Byakuya get put into comas, Aizen defects, I lose an eye and three other Captains get their Bankai stolen. Hmmm…that’s also maybe not counting the fact that Jushiro constantly has consumption still and Retsu hasn’t really fought in a 100 years.”

Ichigo: thinking “…Is he fucking with me?”

As for not dealing with Aizen, in-story-wise, they’re probably lazy assholes like the rest of Soul Society. Meta-wise, Kubo probably hadn’t thought about all of them outside of Hikifune and thought it would be appropriate to have Ichigo save the day…by pulling that bullshit Final Getsuga out of nowhere.

I suppose it’s possible that Hikifune has been hypnotized by Kyouka Suigetsu, but other than that, there really doesn’t seem to be a good excuse for that lack of involvement after Aizen bodied everyone in Fake Karakura town, even if they’re “that” strong.

Basically. This chapter might as well have been entitled “Countdown to Jobbing”.

I laughed at how “lost substitute arc” was about Sado. Ok Kubo.

Minor arc for a minor character
