We have had a couple phone calls saying the BB has it’s volume up too loud. We turned it down again today. Please let us know if you like the new volume level. Thx
too loud? ACME is loud as it is, why would BB being loud really affetc the place? SO they ca listen to more lame music? Bah.
Thx for the comment. Seems to me that we may have the volume too low now. Keep the input coming! We want the cabinet set up the way the majority would like have it.
eff everyone else at ACME, they play loud ass music. lets us hear the sound effects of the game the way its meant to be.
I don’t know what it’s like now, but when it was first in it was definitely too loud. Some of the higher pitched characters really hurt my ears and I couldn’t stand more less then a few feet away from the speakers.
oh yeah, i forgot Arc games have high pitched characters…and they are indeed annoying.
I think the volume level is perfect.
I’ve been playing with Taokaka, and I am loving this game. Now that I have actually figured out how to combo and do some damage, this game is amazing. I still can’t figure out her random air dashes though. Once I get them down it is spam and punish city.
yeah with the old volume they went from annoying to earsplitting lol, anyway good to hear it got turned down a little.
I was getting really pissed today losing to a Jin player who wasn’t blocking shit, but just kept coming back with 3 hit combos that did 1/3 damage. I kept at it though and start winning.
Tao is a ton of fun to play. When she gets in with her shadow clone super activated, I think its almost a guarantied combo. It might be unblock-able, because she can do an instant overhead/low attack mix-up that puts the opponent in constant lockdown, and hits so fast you may be getting hit high and low at the same time by her and her clone. If they burst, then they end up taking 150% damage for the rest of the match, so you its either combo or reduce there defense. Win Win.
Something I found out. If you throw her baseball (qcf B) and it goes past the opponent, it comes backaround and shoots through the screen again after a delay! I don’t think the apple core does.
I keep trying to get out there to mess around since I actually remember how to combo with Jin now, but either it snows or its my birthday or both!

MVCO: Concerning the volume issue, the real problem is only 1 move:
One character (Rachel) has a move where lightning strikes down… and the makers of BlazBlue REALLY wanted you to know that lightning was striking… so it’s like twice as loud as any other move in the game. That’s probably part of the reason for mixed feedback about the volume level. Rachel uses that move a lot in her regular gameplay, so if you’re standing near the speaker when lightning strikes… you’ll be in for a suprise.
IMO the volume level is fine where it’s at currently (not sure what setting it is now? Last time I saw, a tech lowered it to 24 iirc).
