is anyone having issues with their screen being to wide? i am running a 27" westinghouse flatscreen and a 37" inch insignia lcd, the problem is that when i go to the edge of the game only half a character is shown.
i have gone to tv setting and tried setting it to normal mode, its not on wide or cinema or zoom. but still no luck, any suggestions?
Thanks. Looking at some of the stuff on http://s1.zetaboards.com/blazblue , it looks like what you said that attacks with high proration will not be scaled down damage as much with each increase in hit count, but it will also reduce the length of hitstun/untechable the opponent will be put in. Conversely, low proration will scale down down more harshly with each increase in hit count, but will not reduce the length the amount of hitstun/untechable an opponent will be put in. I guess it’s a trade off.
Press start during training mode to enter the menu screen, then press right or R1 to switch to the next page, and then scroll down to “Hit Points” and change it from “Default” to “Regenerate”.
People who have the Xbox version say the scaling type options are only there if you’re using an HDTV. On PS3 it’s apparently available for all TV types. I use PS3 on an SDTV and it’s there. I bet they’ll patch it once they realize it’s missing.
If it’s any consolation, type B makes everything so tiny that it kinda undermines the value of the improvements this game makes in 2D fighting game graphics. But I guess seeing everything on the screen outweighs that, especially with a lot of the V-13 and Arakune shenanigans going on all over the place.
After Tager, who are the “easier” characters to use? I’m not as dexterous with my fingers to play at an enjoyable level, and I’m a working man who can’t put in the sort of hours to become semi-average with a character.
So far, I’ve tried Vu and Litchi. Vu is kinda fun and Litchi seems a bit complex (yet fun), but I can’t play either character at an average level.
At this rate, I’m going to go back to playing SFIV where i’m competent. Then I’ll pick up KOF. I want to become better, but I just don’t have the time to learn complicated characters. Any suggestions?
Trying to get the “Voyeur” achievement/trophy, it says to watch 20 matches… I’ve been sitting in Player Matches either skipping my turn or just entering as spectator for a good 2 hours now (also watching House to pass the time) but I haven’t gotten the achievement yet…
