Blazblue EX Matchmaking: The PS3 Edition

anyone still playing bb?

I am, totally didn’t know about this thread until now though.

add me? kuukuu omoi

Hey! Just got BB: CS (PS3).
If anybody wants to play, add me. I’m a BB noob, but have lots of experience in Guilty Gear.

I hope people are still playing this online, the game is awesome!
And what is all this talk about Extend not being compatible with vanilla CS? Extend is a Vita game, correct?..

EDIT: OOPS, just saw that Extend is a PS360/Vita/PSP game. This is still very confusing, why did CS2 just got released here in Europe, if Extend was already available in Vita?? Can somebody please explain? :stuck_out_tongue:

EDIT2: OOPS x 2! I was mixing CS2 with Guilty Gear XX Λ Core Plus R, which just got released for the Vita :stuck_out_tongue:
Never mind, I’m too tired :frowning:

@Piccoro players are currently playing BlazBlue:Continuum Shift ‘Extend’ on PS3 and XBox360. CS2 was the previous instalment that was a free DLC for the CS disc on console. CS2 was released as a stand alone on the handhelds 3DS and PSP.
Hope this solves any confusion you may of had.

EDIT: I wanted to reach out to more players in UK, I didn’t find a regional/local thread, be nice if there were such a thing on Shoryuken, please link me there if there happens to be one.
I’m a veteran player for BB in the London scene here in London, and figured I needed to bring more attention about events we hold here for Arc games. We are currently starting up a new season of Rank Battles until we get BlazBlue: ChronoPhantasma imported.

A new session has been announced. ‘Weekly Shonen Burst’ is a string of casuals and tournaments that will take place at ‘Heart of Gaming’.

“The season will start from May the 1st and end on July’s Ultimate Clash (Which is the 22nd of July). Both events (Ultimate Clash and Weekly Shonen Burst) will be worth points. Ultimate Clash will be worth 2 times the points.”

The game line up will be:
-Arcana Heart 3
-BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend
-Persona 4 Arena

Entry fee for the weekly will be £4 for venue, and £3 per tournament. Out of that tournament fee, £2 will go towards the pot for that week, while £1 goes to the season pot for that game. Each weekly tournament will have a Pot Split: 60/30/10

Format: Double Elimination first to 2 all the way

The whole season will be using a ELO system for ranking and point distribution.

Be sure to get more details of the event and venue through the following link
Weekly Shonen Burst

We’ve been supprting BlazBlue and Persona 4 Arena somewhat (EU release lol), for years already, I hope I can find some EU and UK players here that may be obvlious to this and Dustloop.com

Yeah, thanks I realize this now.
Actually, I was not hoping to see anyone online, but there seem to be at least 3 lobbies everyday!
A loaf of fresh air after my recent disappointments with MK9 (crap netcode) and DOA5 (aka online ghost town).

I will be getting this game tomorrow.
My network ID is EagleGeo231 and I’m probably gonna start out with Ragna.
