Ok . . .I asked if this was going to be DLC. I never started bitching about it, it was simply a question lol. I totally will not mind paying a full 60+ dollars for a great game that needs some tweaking, new characters is something I look forward to. And like many of you have said, it’ll be a good while before it’s even mentioned for console so by that time everyone should have enough to buy it. In the end it’s your choice to get it or not, it’s as simple as don’t like it? Don’t buy it.
Couldn’t the same thing be said for SF4?
Personally, I’m buying this thing, guaranteed, and shall continue playing current BB in the meantime.
I better get every version of BB that ever comes out for free so the developers can have the pleasure of letting me trash talk them.

If it has a continuation of the story mode and more new characters then just Tsubaki then I’ll be happy to buy it because it would pretty much be a proper sequal by most games standards.
But if it is just a bare bones update with Tsubaki and a few stages it better be DLC since isn’t small updates like that what the DLC system was made for. (I may be wrong it may have been made to let developers like capcom rip us off by locking stuff on the game disks then selling it to us again)
That said with the new moves and everything it does seem to look more like a sequal so that’s good.:lovin:

Its a big enough divide with arcade/console, can you imagine the problems **arcade/console/dlc console **would spawn.
If I played blazblue all this year and into next year, then lost my net but still played with friends locally for a few months only for dlc content to come out and I be either A) be behind on the loop. Or B) have friends that only play with the new content.
I remember when namco released 3 dif version of Soul calibur 2 in arcades. That cause so much drama when it came to tourneys and that was in arcades.

DLC scenario
this one is very unlikely cuz its not a mere balace tweak what we are getting, there will be system changes (what kind of changes, dunno), all the chars got new moves, more than probable propierties changes in their actual moves like hitbox, effects, frames, and so on, + the new chars.
As Phoenix stated this could bring a division between the community wich is something that they would avoid, also since it can be considered a new game (wich it is) the cost of the “update” wouldnt drop of $20, hell considering other games like burnout paradise i dare to say that it would cost between $30 and $40
Disc scenario
the most likely to happen, its the trend of the market, they did this on the past and its more than obvious that it would happen in the future, we see games like the sport games were they do little improvements and little changes and they sold them to us as a new game, no one complaints of it, dunno why people here bitch about it
DLC & Disc scenario
The “ideal” one, they let us have the choice to buy between the both forms, this is unlikely but at least it would be nice
also on a side note, if i threw my money on games that i dont play (sbx, tvc, ah2, mbaa) why i wouldnt pay gladly for a game that i actually enjoy
Maybe with ps3 i could, even still thats more trouble than your average player wants to go through.
And with Xbox that means i have to sign up for live or a month and then by the dlc content.
Based on the fact that Tsubaki charges her super meter, I would venture to guess she’ll play at least a little bit like Holy Order Sol, and maybe have a Astral Finish that involves a super timing intensive combo to get to the instant kill end?
It’s because SRK is retarded. I would have never thought people would complain about an update to a fighting game that definitely needed one.

Well the way they were saying update/sequal sounds promising.
Actualy dunno why I was defending it being downloadable since tbh I felt kind of cheated when pc got disk based expansions for Oblivion when 360 was stuck with dlc and when ps2 got disk based PSU expansion and 360 was stuck with dlc.
I mean even if it does turn out to be just an expansion rather then a sequal it’s not like the price would be fixed at full game price forever, there’ll be offers on the internet for it and second hand copys, whilst if it was download only they could fix the price at a certain point and that is what we would be stuck paying forever. (and disks add to our collections)
In short I’ve had a change of heart please let it be a disk. (besides if it is just an expansion they may not charge full game price for it from the start anyway, theres always hope)
Oh this is so not dlc. 
If you guys form a boycott group, Arc Sys might fly you guys over to test the game, like Valve did. Or just wait 'til you stop crying. Who knows, give it a try!
