That isn’t bragging?
Again, i’m not trying to be mean, I just think it’s funny that PAL gets eternally screwed over.

Not really.
I said “most likely”. It’s still true that you guys have to buy it. But we have to, too. lol.
I wasn’t trying to brag, I just thought it was completely logical to release Continuum Shift instead of Calamity Trigger+a bit extra stuff. It completely baffles me that they make such an idiotic decision, and I still can’t believe that they really do that. It would be funny to me, too, if it wasn’t so sad.
Pwned
Still not a very smart move… Maybe they’ll get 1 of the new characters, or a random new character outof the blue
The official answer is, the European version is getting Sol Badguy as an unlockable. It isn’t getting any CS material. No CS stages, no CS characters, no CS moves.
There you go–the real answer without any PR fluff. Obviously, you won’t like it very much. Suck it down, PAL region!
Where did you get this info?
hey Gullible is written on the ceiling…:xeye:
i swear some of you people…
Well, I wasn’t sure if it was a lame attempt at trolling, I might have missed an article.
maybe if you lived in europe… you’d understand…
YOU’D ALL UNDERSTAND OUR PAIN =[
IIRC didn’t a lot people from the PAL regions import BB anyway, don’t tell me your holding out because you think your getting a additional character that wasn’t in the vanilla version? listen if you want the game so badly just import dat shit (if you can) then enjoy the game damn it, save that “ZOMG extra character” BS for the sequel ya dig?
Aren’t PS3 games completely region free? Why would anyone in Europe buy a 360? :S
Indeed they are, PAL PS3 >>> PAL 360
Cause the PS3 is fucking expensive.
599? >>> 599$ (it’s around 890$, actually).
And just having all games region-free (as opposed to almost all with a few exceptions) just doesn’t warrant that huge price in my opinion.
I know there’s PS3 Slim, but even that pack costs 300?, whereas the XBox Elite pack costs 250?. That’s ~75$ less.
You have to understand that the European video game market is really a lot different from the American or Japanese markets. You can sell stuff here that won’t go in the States, and there’s stuff that sells far worse than in the US, and consoles are not really on the strong side here in Europe. So price is an insanely huge argument, and importing games respectively region-free games hardly is. There’s no solid video game scene, hardly any arcades in most countries, if there are some at all in these respective country, hardly any video game stores (Austria, for instance, has like 8 GameStops in the whole country) there are no major gaming tournaments. The strongest gaming platform in Europe is actually the PC, and each and every little media store here in Europe offers PC stuff and games, even obscure ones, but a lot of times you won’t find consoles in them.
To most of Europe, console games still are “children’s stuff”, and we never had any arcade scene that strengthened the presence and spine of video games here. Computer was pretty much the only way to go.
In SNES/Genesis times, we got like, 30% of the Americans’ game library (which already only got a small part of the huge Japanese market). Going one generation back, NES time, we got like 10% of the American library. Atari never was a big runner here, either.
We’re posting on a forum full of dudes who spend hundreds of dollars on new consoles and specialized controllers to play niche video games.
Saying it’s “more expensive in dollars” is kind of misleading.
I editted my post, as you can see… I tried to explain why the 360 is more appealing to the European market in general.
I, for myself, decided for the 360 because of several reasons, and the price did indeed factor, although not quite a lot.
i am lucky enough to own both a ps3 and 360 so i imported that shit, but not everyone in europe has both sadly. most of my irl friends only own 360s.
and even when we DID get games, until the mid-ps2 era they generally ran somewhat slower than their us counterparts, and some came with horrible big black borders around the screen, unless they were games that originated in europe. it wasn’t until tvs here started supporting 60hz by default that those issues faded away.
but the ps3 has more benefits on long terms, also, its more than probable that the 360 would fail in less than a year (looking at my 2 previous 360)
