Azriel was probably A+ BEFORE they nerfed everyone else and then gave him some Quality of Life buffs (P.S. My character could use some of those. The bull**** stuff that makes combos drop is absurd, thanks.). He’s almost certainly S now.

Those Grand Finals were freaking amazing. I mean, holy shit.
Nothing is going to top that. The raw hype and emotion in that grand final was absolutely unmatched. The Top 3 players were so good literally any of them could have taken it, but god damn.

Grand finals had me on the edge of my seat the whole time, hell the entire top8 and a large chunk of pools did too… but dat GF… O.O

HUH! Intriguing. I wonder if they’ll make us in the home console space but a new version of the game to get the inevitable changes. 
Hm…kinda interesting that Caelica’s another puppet character, and I’m not sure how Lambda’s gonna work since in CS, she was essentially Nu, and having 2 characters almost exactly the same doesn’t seem to be Arcsys’ style. That being said…I’m sure people would have rather had Phantom/Nine and/or Jubei instead.
Word on the street is that Lambda will be “similar to Nu’s Luna form, but will have different drive moves”…
Okaaaay.
Anyway, as has been justly pointed out, it’s a lot faster and cheaper to make another character using mostly the same art assets than it is to make a whole new playable character from scratch, so saying “I’d rather have gotten <completely new character here> instead” is kinda missing the point - it’s unlikely they’d have chosen to make Lambda if they had the resources to make a completely new character.

GGs! I’m still on my post-Evo power up - I was blocking Carl mixups last night like a boss.
You seem to have a better handle on Noel than Hakumen, overall, though you use 2D too much - you don’t really want to go for ghetto crossup mixup all the time. Learn to integrate mixup into your drive strings.
Is the update going to be free for consoles? (excluding the characters of course)
No information regarding if/when the update will come to consoles at all. So no one knows. It’s probably a safe bet that there will be some way to get it for consoles, but given past timelines, I wouldn’t expect it before next year, and I wouldn’t speculate on how it will release.
