The implication being that if you do it while you ARE In hit/blockstun, you get a greenburst since that behavior hasn’t changed.
I get the feeling that the release schedule for P4A was dictated by Atlus, not ASW, so I wouldn’t really hold it up as a model.
That said, it’s going to be a few months before the Japan console release, and then some additional time before anywhere else. While March isn’t out of the question, I think we’re going to see this one come out a little later in the year.
If it’s like Blue Revo was, they’re probably going to hold qualifiers at certain dates/times/locations. You show up and if you place into the top 4 or whatever at the qualifier, you get an invite to the ‘real’ thing.
I’m still confused about what you’re saying here. It is a character power up gameplay feature, so what were you mistaken about?

Just because despite there being at least 7 Japanese Noels, they don’t seem to show up much and the only ones I ever seem to see anything from are R-1, GUCCI, and Takeyama.
Look at this video. Look closely at the top-right of the video underneath the word “Hakumen” on certain parts of the video. There is this little activation thingy and I think it’s some sort of power-up on the character. I saw this before in arcades. I want to know what’s it called, what does it do, how do you activate it. I hope I’m not mistaken again.
If you burst (Green burst only, done by pushing ABCD while in hit/blockstun), it turns black and you can neither burst nor overdrive until it has turned gold again.
If you go into Overdrive (Done by pushing ABCD while NOT in hit/blockstun), it splits in half and turns into a ‘meter’ which depletes with time. how long it lasts depends on how much health you had when you did it (more is less) and it gives you a character specific power up (Hakumen gains meter very fast). When the gauge is depeleted, the icon will be black and you won’t be able to burst/overdrive until it is gold again.
Huh. I’m no Noel expert, but I didn’t see much new going on in the Platinum video. Just some Ragna style mid-combo overheads, and a couple of things that ended with her gun-transform-shot thing instead of whatever they used to end with (Bloom Trigger?). What’s new for Noel?

She has a new win pose that is similar to a PG version of that one I-No pose (aka, it’s just her jacket, she still has a shirt on)
2D appears more floaty and with a bit more range

Right; So stuff that’s interesting to people who play Noel, but which doesn’t much influence playing against her/watching. Except perhaps needing to watch for throws midscreen now. (still annoyed with how much damage Noel gets off a meterless corner throw in EX. 4K? Really? off a THROW?)
Well sure, but if you’re going for the double Bloom Trigger combos (where instead of 4D>Assault Through, or the d.6C bit in there, you go 4D>Bloom Trigger>66C>6C>stuff) you have to delay the first Bloom Trigger properly or the whole combo just goes to shit fast.

His damage output is looking mighty silly right now. Without weakpoints, he will average 2K BNB’s and 3K from a good starter. Once Azrael tacks on weakpoints the damage doubles and triples. He get’s free corner carry in seconds from a throw and an unblockable distortion that does like 3K.
