I didn’t like Alexandrite II as much; It lacks the ‘oomph’ of the original.<br>

<br><div>I know, Bullet Dance II is all sorts of “wha?”. It’s funny since before the preview came out when we only heard bits and pieces of it from short fight clips, it sounded like (with the slow guitar riff starting it off) something that might be cool. Now it’s like “err…”.</div>
Bullet Dance II grew on me, I actually really like the song now that I heard the full version. It’s best not to think of it as a remix but rather it’s own thing. <br><br>Now it sounds more like proper battle music imo.<br>
I feel like most of the themes feel a bit more overdone than their OG counterparts. Howling Moon II is a step down, thematically (sorry, Dreize), and I’m about ready to riot over Catus Carnival II. Bullet’s theme (Bubs of Fire, or somesuch) is the best in the game, now.<br><br>There are some winners in the remix section, though:<br>Bullet Dance II (I like it!), <br>Condemnation Wings II, <br>Awakening the Chaos II, <br>Gluttony Fang II, and<br>Lust Sin II.<br><br>GF and LS especially aren’t better than the originals, but they’re still among the top four or five in CP. The first three on that list are definite improvements. At least Rags, Jin, and Noel are still front and center. (But I did lol at Noel’s nipple. Good God.)<br>

Eh. Feels too jerky and “remixed”; It’s one of those remixes where you can tell the person wanted to be SUPER SURE you knew you were listening to a REMIX, in a NEW STYLE.
I like the bits that give me that oldschool “Castlevania” vibe, but the baseline is way too heavy for me.
Catus Carnival, Thin RED Line, and Blood Pain are definitely the most improved of the bunch, while Motor Head and Bullet Dance took a beating.
It also seems that ChronoNews was a bit too obvious about having the themes available, because he’s shut down now.
There’s another place that has them up on Youtube, but he’s changed the names. For instance, Sword of Doom II is called “Dat Robo Ass”.
I personally enjoy the mixture between the two styles.
