It sounds like Guilty Gear Metal but with more bass, especially Ragna’s stage!
But it sounds like Heavy Metal music in general.
I actually thought someone was playing Metal outside the gaming room, until I realized it came from BB and I even told the guy next to me that the music rules :rock:
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that characters do have air launchers that can be combo into, Taokaka’s air launcher is fwd+Light and Noel had one too, I seen some crazy Noel air combos with that launcher, thats pretty much how they got those 22 hits.
Iron Tager does have a projectile, looks useful since its fast and travels across the screen in the middle.
So I got to see the tourney, and I saw a really strong showing for everyone involved(I was the guy sitting on the floor between the two BB games goin’, if you were there). As was expected, Noel, Ragna and Jin were the popular picks. The top of the heap, however, was someone guy called Purin using Taokaka. Everything mentioned here and more was in motion as the guy rushed in and took it 2-0. He got not just the swag bag, but every one of AKSYS’s games

Purin is a pretty good Socal GGxx player! Used to play him online.(if its the same dude)
See what you don’t understand is that Purrin is good, but the second you give him a catgirl character he becomes god tier… I am sure that it also helps that catgirl is god tier as well.

The funny thing was that on Thursday, Purrin pretty much refused to use Cat Gurls very effective/very scrubby Claw Overhead x N attack.

storm you of all people should know purrin is going to favor his usual poke and throw (hit and run) style of play over doing the same combos as everyone else.
and with a character that can get in and out of range as well as taokaka… yikes, they may have just designed the character specifically for him.
(now that i think about it… he has been trying to get us to quit guilty gear ever since the cat girl was announced. hmmm coincidence?)

Yeah, I wish BB wasn’t announced at the last minute, I could of joined the tourney and been playing that game all 4 days instead of just Friday.
I’m glad a GG player won the tourney, I would of been pissed if a button mashing otaku took the win.

the aksys guys said that they’ll be bringing BlazBlue to comic-con as well. I bet it will be teh exact same one as we saw here at AX, but don’t hold me to that

Also finally got a super off on the last day of the Location test before I headed off to take care of some things at AX.
