Looks like he’s playing a far too paniky gamestyle. Relying on prediction and chance. The matches he nearly wins are from pressure with heavy normals, certainly not unsafe opportunistic balling. Hops are dangerous to your health, I can see this in the first few rounds. The only thing that seems to connect for him are throws and the odd moments confusion which leads to maybe one cr.lk then either a whiffed second cr.lk or another hop. Trying to play too fast in the hopes of confusing wolfe or making him mad and rq’ing isn’t ever going to work. I would have tried laming it out and punishing with solid two-hit counters more than gimmicks. Reactive play wins. Always trying to be on the move like the stage floor is a hot tin roof seemed to get him killed.
- No combos at all
- Can’t hit-confirm properly with cr.lk
- Random balls against a character who can punish them quite easily
- No setups after knockdown
- No frame traps
- No attempt at a footsie game
Seems like your average online Blanka.
Pretty much all of that yeah, it’s dumb that is what is representative of “high level” American Blanka play.
I tried it on my pc sf4 many times with no success? is it ?ssf4 only? setup or i was just doing it the wrong way?
PC sf4 doesn’t have any unblockables of any type I heard. So you can’t do these, or the old style unblockable ultras.

You’re really impatient, and you shouldn’t be using reversal ex upball against rog.
But yeah it’s hard to tell. when you just hold up forward and your opponents don’t anti air you or you do crossup into short xx elec and they don’t block.

Nice momentum. Some overuse of ex moves, but sometimes better safe than sorry. I like the rainbow over tkd>hop>upball, sneaky enough to catch at least once.
Gave sim too much room imo. I played a nice sim earlier and fa’d the first half of each round until they were comfortable with yoga zoning then I slid and raped them. Play dumb for a bit, then attack… don’t let them keep their comfort zone for too long, they dictate at 3/4 screen. Let them get comfortable there then mix it up. The hardest part for me is what normal to use post-teleport. If I’m close then it’s a st.mk/st.mp/st.hk but that is the only hard choice in that matchup for me. Sometimes a fa works post teleport but more often it fails to j.lk/lk>cr.lk>yogafire.
That sagat at the end there was a nightmare. No shame.
