His spacing is just ridiculous. Knows all the ranges and uses meter so effectively. Every single ex ball hit and it hit through a fireball. The day any blanka takes what we know now and gets this level of space control is the day blanka is top 4 at majors.
Nice simple setup of back throw > dash > overhead against shotos.
I’ve just taken to calling him Mizoteru Pegasus, dude reads people too well, he must have the Millennium Eye.

Oh T SRAI, why u no unblockable?
guy gets free ex tatsu if you go for the unblockable on him. The offensive momentum that guy gains can be troublesome. You can fake the unblockable by jumping late or focus dashing out of b.throw to make ex tatsu whiff but it’s still a guess.

TSRAI is a great player, but this set was painful to watch sometimes… why so many FA into Guy’s FA? Apparently TSRAI couldn’t figured out that Blanka’s dash was too slow to hit Guy on his recovery after FA.
I think people fall into patterns when playing a set. It happens to everyone. It’s easy to be an observer and point out weaknesses to a blanka who’s 6k pp against japanese players.
I will say that there is a difference between what i see with him and mizoteru. Specifically that TSRAI’s offensive style is not optimal in some matchups even though he is REALLY good at it. While mizoteru has no trouble controlling the space and turning it into a boring and ugly match. No one can be as content with coward crouching 50000000 tiger shots to get a draw vs sagat in vanilla as mizoteru can. What’s crazy is whenever he controlled the space he’d get a knockdown whether it was from a slide or just keeping guy out of the air. I don’t know why he didn’t do that all round… I know he’s probably better then me but i have said playing vs guy you cannot get in close, while it seems fun you’re now in his world and you are at a small disadvantage while if you stay away you are in control. The match was incredibly fun to watch including the fake crossup upball that he did. I’m gonna have to look at that again.
Like i said whenever you play a set online some people like to have fun i never take sets like these to heart especially again the guy has 6kpp lol wtf. I see pr balrog derping online all the time doing like 3/4 screen ex rush punches but then a tournament comes around and shit just got serious
I had to rewind the video to watch that fake crossup upball setup in the corner again.
He used HK upball after forward throw in the corner to land in front, doing HP elec. Very confusing to the opponent.
And don’t get me wrong, TSRAI is a great player. He started very strong, but then OTinhoso made some adjustments and TSRAI seemed lost for the remaining rounds
So much combos/meaties dropped from T SRAI… it seems the set was very laggy, or T SRAI is rusty, or yes, he didn’t take that seriously i don’t know.

that corner setup is kind of gimmicky and loses to reversals. It’s especially bad offline as someone can listen to your inputs. I prefer to safejump in the corner or do an ambig jumpin.

TSRAI’s use of slide to AA was quite impressive, actually
EX Ball FADC was such a waste of meter, it’s pointless to use cr.MK to try a reset, especially online, when the opponent can always DP (or EX Tatsu in this case). Not to mention that at one point TSRAI could have used SUPER but opted to waste 3 bars on crappy damage
I usually manually time HP ball to cross up and secure the round, didn’t know there is a setup for that.
People can always mash dp though, the thing is that you have to make it seem like a bad idea for them to do so. You can’t play 100% risk free offense and ex ball fadc into a reset can lead to huge damage. Blanka has 70%-100% damage reset chances using ex ball.
F throw mk upball isn’t that bad. It’s good to use if you have super and you’ve been using a lot of cross ups imo. The opponent thinks you’re gonna land on the other side and you get electricity xx super.
I just have to second what Ves said about having to sometimes take risks.
You condition to stop reversals, then you can get nutty. Almost every single thing in this game can be beaten by a mashed dp, from “block” strings to attempting tick throws, everything. Conditioning is everything.
And like Ves said, somethings like ex ball fadc cr mk reset are really good… especially if you’re going for something very high damage like reset into overhead xx u1.
It’s not about the setups themselves being good or bad or anything, it’s about knowing who things can and can’t work on.

I just noticed in the video he uses hk up ball not medium… that’s kind of weird I always use mk and it times it really well… if you do it instantly you don’t cross up but if you delay even a little bit you land on the other side. He also just mashes the hp during the ball for electricity so now I guess I don’t feel as scrubby for doing the same lol.
One thing I wanted to point out and it’s the same problem I have against Guy is that friggin cr lk… It stops absolutely everything. I was playing pxg redman a little bit and that was the one thing that bothered me he could literally just cr tech me to death. I could barely even get close enough to start running electricity frame traps bc i’d get cr lked 10 times before I got close.
Same thing with this match it was just destroyed T srais offense completely in a lot of cases. Really tough to work around
