If you don’t play a shoto-ish character everytime you win it’s cheap.
Atleast that’s how I remember it until I learned to counter the basic shit that works on noobs.
Just a note since a lot of people here seem to be missing this:
the percentage is only of those people who chose to give you rep at all. So if you have 50%, there’s a pretty good chance all you have is one person who gave negative and one person who gave positive.
Most people from what I’ve seen don’t really go out of their way to give positive rep. So it’s really easy to have a high percentage of negative rep, since people often give no rep at all
It’s all completely meaningless, but it says "33% preferred you OR did not submit a review about you."
I’m sure you’re correct, it may be Microsoft screwed it up. I thought it was just a way to gauge the dislike of Blanka.

Blanka is free all he has is blanka ball and sht is so unsafe Most the cast can punish with no meter the rest can with meter or on reaction.

I versed the scrubbies blanka yesterday. all he did was jumping short and jap lol. I would get him to less then half half and then just jumping HK ultra with rufus lol quit 2nd rnd.
Ran into another spaming blanka ball was taking them for the hell of it. Then would punish with Cfierce he paused like fck he figured me out he did ex rainbow ball block Jroundhouse let him droped dive kicked his elec to target combo to raise the rufus.
moral of the story To many scrub blanka was watchign SB this weekend not to hate but this blanka did good and he was thrash IMO. PPls r slacking hard

Firend of mines droped blanka cause it required “no effort”. When he say my 12 yr old brother actually doing combos with him is the reason he droped him.
OP sorry for turning this into how i feel about him. I actually love blanka. I just hate some people that use him. I hate gief more though he has to be the easiest char in the game. Mash larait for the win.
jesus christ there were so many blankas at SB4 it was ridiculous. there were like 8 in my pool alone.

I’ve had quite a few mirror matches lately, and I also hate how people use the character. Criticism of poor Blanka play should be welcomed, I know I could learn a thing or two.
Average players hate Blanka because he’s an out of the box character. You can’t use the same boring shoto tactics that work on other players. You have to think outside of the box a little (mind you it’s very little) and that annoys people. They think he’s top tier because their fireball spam and crossups don’t work, or maybe they just have flasbacks of CvS2.
Good players know that the majority of Blanka’s moves are pretty easy to punish…some of his moves can even be punished on hit. Good players eat mediorce Blankas for breakfast.

You know after a match, you can press a button to bring up their gamer page. If you press that button and then back out, you have just ‘not submitted a review’.
You being at 67% probably means two people prefer not to play you while one accidentally hit a button. Srsly.

Blanka is really a joke…he does have a few tricks that noobs tend to fall for…but once you know those tricks Blanka is free…he has some really really bad match-ups…and he is NO WHERE NEAR overpower…lol
I play on PS3 so I don’t understand what the negative % means…but if I can avoid certain character it would be Ryu… just way too many of them online… and lp.dp => ultra and trading srk then ultra are what I called “cheap”
blanka is the easiest to win with, hands down. he’s all about cheap tricks since he has very few combos. he relies on crossups, tick throws, and chip damage from his ultra which has tricky properties. that’s how he was designed. that’s how blanka has always been, and that’s why i main him.
what’s great about him is that he’s not that hard to use. most people can just pick blanka and do well no matter what. if you have problems beating him, it’s because your playing too aggressive imo. block and don’t take too many risks and you should be fine.
i hardly play this game online but today i decided to use only blanka on xbox live and i must have won 90% of my matches. by the way, i’m terrible at this game.
