EXPERIMENTAL

This stuff is experimental. I tested it on Dreamcast with my eyes closed relying exclusively on sound to read the hit, and then timed the remainder of the combo to see if it can be done based on audio based cues. Initial testing proved highly promising. I also set the machine to auto-block to be sure it would combo properly. The only thing I haven’t done is used it on a player in the heat of battle.

Let’s say you lose your AA [or have it but it’s heavily depleted and you don’t wish to use it], and your damage dealing character for DHC purposes is the next character in your team. Let’s say you land a hit [other than hk…;]. How do you inflict damage on your opponent in this situation?

If you cannot combo into your AA or drones, you can try a…
1]dlk,“dmp”, and use an armageddon whiffed fast cancell [DHC] into a proton cannon, Hail, or HSF in order of easiest to hardest. All will combo.
-The Armageddon is alot faster than one might think and in this situation can be used as a pseudo-frame cancell.

2]Off a flying hp, you can try the same armageddon rapid DHC.

A warning concerning the rapid DHC into Sentinel HSF:
Occasionally, a rock might accidentally hit the opponent before you get off the HSF hit. Normally this won’t comprimise the DHC, but occasionally, that rock will pop them up making the HSF blockable. This bad luck hit doesen’t happen often, but it DOES happen. Be prepared for the risk. You can always use the Plasma globe super instead.

Additional warning: getting hit while airbourne by blackhearts jumping hp and getting hit while standing act completely different. If you hit an airbourne foe with hp you have to be sure that they’ll get hit by at least 2 projectiles or the pseudo-framecancell won’t combo with the hit.

This is the super where burning asteroids fall from the sky.

=HOD / Heart of Darkness

This is the super where demons rise up from in the ground and attack you. This super tracks, and when it ends/scatters, you drop in a normal jump state [can block, call assists, poke, get guard-broken, etc… on the way down…,].
-Don’t do this to an un-cornered Cable unless he’s meterless.

-Judgement Day
qcb,lp+hp (air)
-Doable ground or air, this super shoots demons horizontally on the ground, or diagonally down forwards in the air.

I don’t, but Deathfist recorded some of my matches from T6. Mavbe he can hook you up. Bare in mind that I was playing on jap sticks. Could’nt play to my full potential.

Cute trick I figured out on Dreamcast. May be very old, but it’s usefulness is good.

BH-Capcom

Normally, people [myself included] use the following ground combo with BH…

=Call Capcom+dlk, dmk, capcom hits, wait, inferno, HOD.
-The problem with this version is that you cannot use it against Sentinel because of the wierd properties of his knockback.

There is a slight variation that you can do of the same combo that you can do that totally negates this…

=dlk, call capcom, dmk cancelled IMMEDIATELY into an inferno.
-The idea is to use the Capcom assist to knock them back into the inferno and not wait to pick the person off as they fly back from the hit.
-The timing on this combo is VERY tight, if you screw this up, the Capcom will blast your victim past the inferno leaving you with no combo, and at severe risk of a retaliatory AHVB on both your assist and BH.

Using this slight modification in timing even gives you the ability to infinite on any character in MvC2 off the Capcom assist with ease.

Dlk, call capcom, dmk, sj cancell, hk. They will get blasted into the infinite. Even if they means SERVBOT!!!

Don’t forget though, if you are infiniting, only do a maximum of 2 reps, then land a combo, tag out, or DHC.
