Black Friday/Cyber Monday 2017 thread

It’s about that time people…gonna try to not go for broke this time.

Khol’s has their ad up…that $199 PS4 1TB deal looks nice.

Found out the Zenfone 4 is out but it’s $400.

Hopefully Amazon offers a discount on cell phones.

I’m on a mission to cop a 65 inch for the low.

Looking to grab a tv myself. Prolly step up other older tech pieces as well.

NNNNNN at me already having a PS4…

I’m guessing MS lowered the price of the PS4 Pro by launching at $500…again…:annoyed:

Hoping for an Amazon flash sale :prayer:

Amazon day > Black Friday

Happy Black Friday eve… aka Happy Thanksgiving just a few more hours before the tide is let loose.

Best buy went live sometime yesterday. Missed on Disgaea 5 smdh

Amazon has Sandisk Micro SD cards on sale for the next 12 hours. $90 for 256GB. $50 for 200GB.

Don’t know why these companies have people working on holidays like this just so someone can buy things slightly cheaper a day early. It’s all going to be there the next day. No need to rush.

The major retailers are usually closed in the morning and open in the evening today. Employees can still enjoy the holiday I’d they do it earlier in the day.

Cyber Monday, Target is having and additional 15% off their “deep discounts” which start Sunday…don’t know if I want to try going lower on some of the items I already bought…

Yea your family should shuffle its whole day around so you can go to work and sell people tvs!!!

BF came a little early for me, got a 32 inch insignia for $80 bucks. Sweet deal.

You’re clearly missing the point. The fact that people have to work on Thanksgiving AT ALL is a travesty. It’s a day meant to spend quality time with family and usually with ones that you don’t normally get to see. Why should anyone have to cut that time short because a bunch of assholes can’t wait 12 hours to buy something for 10-20 dollars cheaper?

Hopefully employees get paid extra holiday pay. Might be worth it for some folks to pick up extra hours.

Just got from Best Buy. Took my nephew since he wanted Dragonball Xeno 2 for Switch, figuring it would be sold out (we went after 11pm PST), plus I needed some air. He ended up getting the last one and we didn’t wait more than 5 minutes in line

Some guy with anxiety problems was walking through the front door a little before us before little dude ran passed him. Me trying to keep up, guy tries to slow me down, I comply for 1.5 seconds, before allo-parental instincts kick in and I need to keep an eye on him. Dude got pissed and was like “I don’t want to have to hit someone (me) in the head” loud enough for me to hear but I didn’t have time since I had important things to do. Almost wanted to tell him to keep his old ass home if he can’t handle crowds, but responsibilities, lol.

The line we were in was one of the department lines and not the main one and the cashier had a cold and looked frazzled, haha. He had one dude from behind asking him about something before he gave up and told guy “I don’t know”, so guy just walked off pissed. Then the dude in front of us with a Xbone S disagreed with his purchase, I think wanting more of a discount but didn’t get it, lol. He went to another line. On our turn the guy looked like he was ready to go off on the next customer, lol! I just said “Hey” and asked if he was holding up ok. Dude was relieved to not have an asshole.

They did have the PS4 Pro for $349, and I almost regret getting mine off Amazon despite the benefits as I could be gaming RIGHT NOW, but this trip wasn’t planned and ended up being awesome. Xenoverse is lit so far.

I got time and a half. People complain but some people need to work and not everyone celebrates holidays(me) if theres so many people willing to go out and shop that means they are free…which means there are people free to work.

fortunately I dont work during the black friday madness. Just the night before/morning of thanksgiving

And what people are forgetting, Super Markets are often open that Morning for last minuet Thanksgiving Dinner shopping.
Many Supermarkets have a Half day on Thanksgiving.

So those families who got people working in a Super Market and somewhere like Best Buy can’t spend Thanksgiving as a Family, because as one family member comes home the other is leaving for work.
