lol can someone explain the “Bipson” joke? Like where did it come from i keep trying to figure it out i cant. Can’t be a typo because the “p” and “s” are like on the other side of the keyboard…
somone just made a thread and mispelled bisons name and it just caught on.
This was probably asked before, but what punch-strength do you use to perform Lord Bison’s cross-up pyscho crusher and the timing to execute it? Also, what is the best setup for the psycho crusher cross-up?
Depends he has few setups for cross-up crushers.
lk scissors then an immediate fierce PC crosses up if they tech.
If they don’t tech light PC into light PC crosses up.
Hell Attack (1st hit only) stand fierce light PC crosses up.
He has more but I don’t feel like listing them all. These should get you started as they come up the most in a match.
As far as timing goes as soon at the previous move lets you preform the PC. Other set ups have specific timings, but I didn’t list those.
Thanks!
How good is EX Headstomp as a Antiair/corner escape. It does huge damage and fast enough to beat a lot of move. Seems to have a better hitbox then regular headstomp.
Pretty good as an anti-corner escape, situational as an anti air. It’s hard to hit Chun or tatsu copter shoto though.
If I catch an opponent mid-air, but just before landing, with a neutral j.FK, can I catch him with a cross up PC?
Is there some sort of guide for Psycho crusher cross up in these forums ?
noob question, but i was just playing around with bison to see if i might pick him up (never played him before) and i couldnt seem to do the fake headstomp thing where he flies back mid headstomp. how is it done?
thanks in advance
What’s the frames on Lk xx Lk.SK, because i’ve heard it’s neutral but i always seem to get hit after it even if i’m blocking.
.
you sure, because i always seem to get hit after I do a a LK xx SK on block.
Did you completely ignore the link…?
If you get hit after a lk scissor kick on block you’re either not blocking or have thrown out a normal which has been stuffed.
you could also be doing the wrong version of the scissor, thats really the only thing that can explain you doing the move and getting hit by something even if you block
What’s the best normal to throw out against Ryu cr. mp pressure? St. Rh gets beat by it… would I be better off with st. lk or st. mk? I’d test it out, but I lent my 360 to a friend for a bit.
Hey, I recently switched over to Bison and have pretty much mastered his BnB’s as well as punishes but I’m having some problem with the actual game. I’m trying to get better by playing online matches (the fact I keep getting annoying jumpaway Ken’s doesn’t help much, they seem to multiplying in their numbers!) but I keep losing, I’m not quite sure. Are you meant to work your way in to the opponent with Bison, and heap the pressure on with the lk (lk) (lk) xx lk.SK? I’m no quite sure how to go about my business right now, a point in the right direction would be helpful!
With the runaway shotos or what I call the ‘Ranked’ shotos you just need to stay patient. Get a life lead then let them jump about like Morons, if you have ultra 2 stocked and they’re at the other end of the screen there isn’t much they can do. The important thing is to not get frustrated with them.
Now how you’re meant to approach your opponent varies on the character they choose. All the information on that is in the match-up thread and Kims thread has been answering a lot of things regarding how you approach match-ups. So I’d check those out.
What I’ve come to terms with recently the more I’ve studied Bisons game is that you can’t just use relentless rushdown against your opponent. You have to think every step through and think about their escape options and how you can counter it. You also have to play lame (in my opinion) against a countless number of characters. (Gief, Honda, Balrog Cammy, Adon etc etc).
Spacing, spacing, spacing, spacing, spacing. Spacing. And patience. Especially vs. jumpy shotos, space yourself close enough so that you can either spam s.HK/s.MK to keep them grounded or far enough that you can tag them when they land. If they get reset in the air, get inside SRK range to bait it out. If they don’t bite, just backdash out and readjust your spacing. If you get them in the corner, you can almost guarantee they’ll try to jump out, so use some carefully-applied headstomp pressure to keep them grounded. Basically, don’t be afraid to poke the fuck out of your opponent. Bison’s good like that.
