Lets make this a great event. Post up if you are interested in attending. Sauga, Toronto, London, etc We are expecting a good turnout from you guys.
Get hype everyone. Blitzman, I wanna see “Waterloo’s Champion” make his return. If you want your title back from Peter, you’re gonna have to take it from him:arazz:.
Also Nagata; can you make a new rule that states all tournament threads need to have date AND city in the topic?? SSF4 is gonna spring up a ton of tournies so it’s gonna be a good way to keep track without having to enter the thread to see where it is!
That does sound cool, but it may be better to stick to a 1v1 and have it be the first super tournament that is 1v1 with old characters lol. I’ll figure out what most people not from Waterloo are interested in and let you know.
I think a lot of people are clamoring to play a Super tournament with all characters, so I think you’ll get a decent turnout if you run a singles with all characters.
A side Team Tourney would be great though.
Thinking about it some more this morning as I start my first day of PhD (yeah…I’m working hard already lol), I agree with Adrian in that I think the best thing to do would be to hold a legit singles tourney, and then maybe hold a large team side tourney afterwards (5v5) so we can get some region competition going on! Keep the main focus though as the single tourney, and given it runs the same that Fight On! did (+1 more station), it could be done in about 4-5 hours for a 40-50 man bracket. That would leave time afterwards for some region competition. Also…the tourney is on a long weekend…which means Monday is a day off…so we can play later into the night :).
