I was over at the Mega Woot tournament yesterday. There were two other Bison players.

Bleh … my performance at CW today was really embarrassing. First time ever playing on a CRT, first time ever on a stream, and having commentary right behind me just added to the mindfuck. Nerves absolutely destroyed me.
Dude, I was like that my first tourney. Luckily, MWC was not my first. You have to be very focused and don’t let the ppl get to u. I was on the stream twice for MWC and when my name was called I said to myself “I’ve go to perform at my very best, everyone’s watching” --luckily I did and won both times, not to mention I had people giving me pointers as I played. One last thing, get a CRT or an evo monitor, it is wayyyyy better to play on those then it is on a hd tv. All the top players will tell you that… Good luck next time!
Dood, don’t even sweat it. You were solid. Arma is a nasty akuma. He really mixes you up and that Vega had a mean up/back game going on.
Evo monitor is what I play on. It makes a really big difference.

This happens to me lol. Though I’m getting a lot better with my nerves. The only way to get rid of them, at least for me, is to keep going out and playing. I’m gradually getting more accustomed to tourney environment that way.
As for the display issue, I play on CRT and a lagless HD computer monitor(same in specs as an “EVO monitor”) at home. They are the same. If you’re having trouble playing on a CRT as opposed to your TV/Monitor at home then I’d look into getting a cheap CRT TV to play on.

Wow I fought gootecks tonight. I lost of course not suprising, he was using Guile for one, for another I was nervous and screwed up way too much but at least I managed to take a round from him. It will apparently be on his youtube channel at some point. I am still cringing just watching all my screwups in the replay channel.
I know that Rose player (psychochronic), he’s a Toronto local. Dude is real tough! I haven’t played him with my Bison, but he used to beat my Sim for free.

Me and my buddy playing, he is getting better with Ibuki, I mean he was getting some wins against some of the other characters I play with. But for the last game of the night he requested to fight Bison.
