Been doing Player matches and just selecting Random. It’s fun as hell to squeak out a win with someone you expected to completely fail with, and when you lose it’s like … yeah, whatever I went Random.
^ to all of the above, experiment with more characters, it makes returning to the psycho power that much nicer and it gives you a nice break to try out some different tools, etc. right now I’m kinda going through everyone and oddly enough my favorites so far are Seth, Guile, and Dan! In that order! Seth is so damn fun to win with, it’s a total change of pace going from a char with subpar mixups to a mixup god. You also get all off the best tools in the game so it’s just sort of a nice way to take a break. I highly recommend him! And coming from a char so dependent on normals and zoning, Guile is actually kind of a comfy fit. I really like his normals and I honestly think he just takes some creativity to play with and don’t really see why he’s considered such a shitty character. He’s got a great anti-air with cr. fierce, a good damage combo (something like cr.lp, cr.lp, cr.mp xx flash kick), he can juggle his super into ultra, he can even combo into FA crumple. And dan…Dan has frametraps, a DP, and a super taunt cancel into ultra son, real talk, and if you lose you laugh, if you win it is glory.
BTW to tyrone, good one bar games! your bison is weird! i learned a thing or two about the mirror matchup. LMAO at how many times we stared each other down and did the exact same move…its high noon…DRAW! Double PC for the double KO! Nice reads on my teleports and I was like WTF when you wouldn’t stop roundhousing lol. Also great slides. dunno if it was the lag (it was a lot worse than it looked) but man I got a lot of FA crumples off of you and then did my ultra just a TAAAAD bit late. lame, but at least I didn’t get a teleport! Can’t wait to get back in the states and get some decent games in with all y’all. My Dan should be in top form by then. Prepare to get rocked.

You know I didn’t relize until now how much you can learn from a good mirror match. Probably two of the best parts of my play style are a piece of some other Bison player I played online.
-lk SK under crossups(free s.HK)
_lots of pushing knocked down opponents as far as possible into the corner before they get up.
-lots of dashing to evade attacks rather than always blocking.
all these things at the right time are so great to have in the arsenal… learned from mirror matches

also, if the other Bison likes to empty DR to gain meter, or get closer, slide then FA seems to work for me quite a bit.
Also, I’ve been playing Akuma and a few others lately, in case anybody wants to play and NOT fight Mirror match after Mirror match

I went back to my first main (Seth), and have been playing him, and Akuma a lot lately. Still bad ass with Seth, my Akuma is absolute ass though

Yeah alot of people been telling me that my Sim is better and even just assuming that he is my main, as I only get comments on him and not Dic anymore(good and bad).

Yeah, it actually helped a lot. Ive only been using the first one you sent me though, because the other ones seemed a lot harder to connect and I couldnt get it 100%. Only problem is, these FTs are nullified against shotos essentially, correct? It wont stop an SRK, or a TK…so it seems pretty risky because instead of them sticking out a short, they could throw out an SRK and ultra me (correct me if im wrong). Or do they not have enough time to get the SRK out there?
