no of course they have time, this is against people who you can guess are going to tech your throw…ummm a li’l flowchart for how it might go if you wanna be very careful:
jump in mk, cr.lk, throw…your throw is teched---------> next time----->jump in mk, cr.lk, PPP teleport (if they think ahh he’s going to go for the throw or the shorts, I can DP that and I have two bars… so they try to, they whiff and if its a fierce, you are close enough with PPP teleport to cr.mp xx roundhouse scissors)------->next time------>jump in mk. cr.lk, frame trap
basically the idea of my flowchart is that once you’ve basically trained them to do two things, tech and be wary of doing DP’s in block strings, so once you’ve basically punished or at least avoided the option they’ve used then you can try the FT because if they’re good they’re less likely to try and DP you again if they’ve already been punished for one. sometimes i’ve had good players actually DP again in the same situation I originally tricked them because they think that I might be confident enough to pursue a full string or throw now that they’ve been punished, etc.
using the FT all depends on how you’re reading your opponent at the time. use it when you can almost guarantee yourself that they will be trying to crouch tech and not DP or reversal you with whatever, for me this is when you’ve already punished them for DPing through your blockstring.
PS Just wanted to share that I lost like 3 games to a jump back, fireball, air tatsu to get out of the corner Ryu. Its been so goddamn long since I’ve fought one of them I actually lost haha. It was so goddamn frustrating lol. The worst thing was imagining him saying to himself “yeah that guy couldn’t handle my mad skillzzz”, esp after I quit the lobby…but i gotta hand it to him the dude mixed up his scrub tactics, he’d jump in (blocked) then DP me…then the next time he’d throw me lol. I tried giving him a taste of his own medicine with Seth but lost again because he must know his own stupid BS inside out…he never fell for any random ass DP’s and Id lose like half my life lol.
Oh yeah had my first Championship final rage quitter, and I’m pretty sure my ultra was gonna whiff too…lmao
Which brings me to my next question, wtf does Bison’s ultra whiff a blocked ultra from Blanka? so fucking gay!!! its happend to me a couple of times lately but does anyone know waht the deal is? is it online or what? I saw a cammy punish blanka’s blocked ultra so why cant I?
You gotta wait for a bit to Ultra, or you’ll go under Blanka when he recovers. In other words, don’t reversal Ultra when you block Blanka’s ultra, just wait a split second and then do it.

MrAng3l, your Bison is on point. Your scissor trap is hella sophisticated – you really know your options, and you made me pay for not knowing mine.
I think all three of us are really slidey, and thats something we need to address. Too many blocked slides / focussed slides / stupid slides all around. Mostly from me, maybe – but fuck off, I’m the new guy!

GGs NDRWPNDY! idk i think im more slidey than you are…i think its because when i play…i kinda get distracted by my own doing…and i lose focus, and that leads to me going auto-pilot.
as for sliding, hells no…no such thing as too much sliding…gotta throw out a few fake or ‘bad’ slides to keep your opponent guessing as to whether or not they can actually punish your slide

The place where i need help is, lies in the jump-ins. Once a ryu player or ken, or anybody jumps in, they start to do all these random attacks/random grabs and it’s hard to keep up, so i need to improve my reaction time, so i can contest those grabs :tup:

Not that it’s surprising (since I suck) but youngbreezy wasn’t even trying and he 8-0’ed me last night. I’m pretty sure he’d tease me by letting me hit him down to about 20% health and then finish me off.
Weirdly enough he did an ultra at point blank when I was cornered and I did an ex-pc and hit him…I was totally not expecting that.

ur bison is really good…well i don’t know if its because i suck or its really good lol, good games i just felt that too many of your focus attacks left you wide open for punishment(that i didn’t capitlize on very much)
