OK, as I created this topic back then we’re heading into an issue. I won’t take the time to edit the first post. What I am proposing is that on release - or right now- we get this thread ckise/archived. So that someone who’s going to main birdie will update it.

Sounds like a good idea to me. I check srk quite a bit, but I’d love it if someone who’s more active than me to update and be the thread creator when it comes to threads like these.
If no one wants to, I suppose I’ll make it once the game is released and I have a couple of mu guides ready.
c.HP is only special cancellable in the very first frames. As soon as he lifts his arms up to Anti air, it will lose its special cancellable ability.
Also, you can’t cancel it into chain grab and combo on airborne opponents, the opponent drops and falls too soon for that.
I noticed this old bug again last night on the final version of the game. I’m not exactly sure how to reproduce it since I haven’t really had time to go into detail with it. What will happen is I will get stunned, then I’ll start mashing to get out of stun. Immediately as I come out of stun, Birdie will do an EX Bull horn. I think to do this, you have to had been charging for bull horn before you get stunned. It somehow remember that charge while you’re in stun state, then that’s the first thing you get after you mash out of stun.
Knockdown advantage from Light Chain is weird.
It depends how close you are to the opponent and it also works differently based on the camera position. Also the following is all when the opponent quick rises
If you’re right in front of the corner: then s.LK, meaty sMP can whiff. Meaning that u’ll have at least a 20frame knockdown advantage.
If you’re midscreen and use it point blank: then c.LK, meaty cLK can whiff. Meaning that u’ll have at least a 21frame knockdown advantage.
If you’re midscreen and use it max range: then cLK, meaty sMP can whiff. Meaning that u’ll have at least a 24frame knockdown advantage.

Vskill stuff
With that said, if you do hanging chain from max range, and then immediately vskill banana in a birdie mirror, then you’re safe from the opponent’s crossup attack, njHP and njHK.
You’re not safe if the opponents decides to wakeup with a normal or special.
Using the can is also never safe.
setups
If you do the chain in the corner, you can get a meaty command throw (5f) by whiffing c.LP first.
If done outside of the corner, the command throw can whiff because of the extra knockdown advantage.
sLK (whiff), sHK (meaty). This meaty works really well when done from max range, you can even then combo into s.MP.
