Only has armour in trigger, and then only for a few frames. However yes if you are in in trigger, at least that is on demand armour which he struggles with otherwise.

The damage values don’t match up and you can’t combo from c.HP into L or M hanging chain. Now you need to be point blank so H chain can hit.

Yea only in Vtrigger, but it has armor for more than a few frames however. At least 11 frames or so since the armor starts from the very first frame and stays until the 2nd hit.
sHP has more active frames again and has its anti air hitboxes back like in beta 2 (in beta 3, you couldn’t catch people who jump away anymore, but now u can again)
I was having a lot of fun cancelling a max range st.MP into Hanging Chain and then looking at the opponents reactions. If they start jumping I’ll cancel into anti-air Hanging Chain, if they start turtling up I’ll cancel into Bull Revenger.
I love the change to counter hit sweeps, now Birdie can get some legit dirty setups with bananas and cans muahahaha!
EX Bullhead doesn’t have armor without Vtrigger anyways so that wouldn’t be an option compared to EX Bullhorn.
It wasn’t clear, but the discussion was about when you already have Vtrigger active so you can use EX Bullhead’s armor from my Laura post.
I’m not sure what the properties of Birdie’s EX killing head was in the older betas, but I think I’ve figured out what the properties are on it in beta3. It has the most range and it’s throw invincible. It’s not throw invincible on the very first frame though. I was thrown out of it one time, I could hear the swish sound from the EX startup. I’m consistently throwing opponents out of their throw animation if I do it early enough. I tested against zangief’s RBG, and normal throws. It’s probably throw invincible from frames 2-5.
If u look at the hitboxes (that are extremely accurate) You can tell how interesting Birdie’s overhead is as an anti air! I was very surprised when I caught so many people out of the air by it.
It works at ranges where c.MP would whiff, it’s 3 frames active as an AA and has great hitboxes.
