hi i’m from syracuse and i recently became interested in mk9. the only fighter xp i have is some from Brawl. i’d like to get better at mk9 and would like to play people online/locally/etc to improve. i play every day in the afternoon (xbox :c) and would like to meet new people/go to tournies.
thanks!
School’s started up again! Hopefully some new players at Bing will find the thread. Once we figure things out for casuals this year (where/when/how) I’ll get in touch with the people who mentioned interest earlier this year.
Hey all. I’m not a SUNY student, but I’m in the Binghamton area. I’d love to get some MvC3 going so count me in.
lol Clawww who are you? mubariz?
anybody around here still play marvel?
Right here.
http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=310276 theres going to be a marvel event at this tourney, its in syracuse in the beginning of nov.
hmmmm…are there any tournaments at like BU or BCC or something anytime soon?Just started getting into fighting games and i would really like to start going to some sort of tournament to get used to it.
I live in Binghamton… though I work at Cortland.
Anybody want to play??
same here
A small group at BCC is starting to host weekly LAN parties in the Applied Tech building.
Any Marvel or Blazblue players in the area have free time on Friday evenings for some casuals?
Would you guys be against having a 14/15 year old at you casuals? All of my friends can’t even comprehend fighting games,
so I’ve been looking for people to play with around Binghamton for a long time.
I mostly play Street Fighter and Marvel, but i also play Blazblue.
They do Halo mostly, right? I’ve been trying to convince my friend to start hosting fighting games there too I play Marvel and some of the oldies, no BB but I played a little GGXX back in they day so I’d be willing to learn if there’s competition.
The events open to the public so there shouldn’t be a problem.
Reach mostly and there are a handful of PC players. I’ve only seen about 10 people there at most though.
I’ve spent some time in Guilty Gear’s training mode but I’ve never actually played an actual match, haha.
I play on 360 but I have a dual modded TE and a cross platform Mayflash I put some decent parts into if the majority plays on PS3 or if we have a PS3 pad player.

How is the competition there, and are there many people who will play fighting games?
and also do you guys play on both PS3 and 360?
I watched the videos that were on the facebook page and it seems like there are only halo players?
No one who plays fighting games from what I saw, that’s why I posted here to gauge interest.
I personally play on 360 but I have 2 sticks that work on both consoles.
Well, if I can get my friend who goes to BCC to drive me there I will come.
I really wanna play some fighting games with REAL people.
Now I just need a stick.
I still play Marvel too.
