I’ll tell you what I know. He did many good things for his people, but he was a dictator (which means he used his power to stay in power). He bombed some planes in the 80’s or something, which gave him a bad name. He said some stuff about the UN, showing his distaste for it, doing some controversial things. Someone tell me if I left something important out, because I’ve been looking around for info all day.
His biggest mistake was not playing by the rules of the system. He didn’t get into debt, which is how the corporatocracy likes to take over. Also he tried to switch to the gold Dinar, which is bad for the corporations because it gives power to oil producing nations and takes it from the corporatocracy. So that’s when they start making propaganda against him and funding the rebellion. But he was a dictator so hey.
