I’ve updated the rules just a bit more yet again. Huge changes surrounding the Titans event.
-Removal of all challenges
-Removal of “qualifying spots” from singles
-Addition of qualifying event on Friday night ($30 entry, standard format)
Essentially, there was too much contention about the qualifying spots being a prize in singles. Singles is singles, it was never intended to be a qualifier. But because I wasn’t clear, people took it as a qualifier and so wondered why Titans weren’t barred from entering. As a compromise, I have added a mini high roller event on Friday night, and will be awarding the 2 spots there (Standard 65-25-10 payout also applies). The Titans cannot enter the qualifier event.
The time that would’ve been used for challenges has been shifted to the qualifying event, and so challenges have been removed. Aside from the time constraints, challenges were added in to appease the dissension from anyone who felt my picks for the Titans were not correct. But ultimately, that ends up undermining any respect that the Titans rightfully deserve, and so I’ve removed it altogether. I feel like it’s the right thing to do.
I pray to god I never “remember the titans”, or at least none of the debate pertaining to them. That said I pre-registered for this event. 42$ later…here I am (I get it there is so much that goes into a tournament and so on… just sucks as I know none of that money aside from that extra 10$ is doing a damn thing to help the 3S players if I had to hazard a guess. Surely it will just bring more “Hype” to all the other awful games surrounding us).
Nonetheless looking forward to playing this wonderful game with real people! Hope there is something going on before now and then as I sure as hell would love to play for real at least once or twice before now and then.

Seemed like a sarcastic jab, but I’ll answer anyway. No round robin. 5star specifically wanted to battle Yuuki, and New York doesn’t feel like Ryan’s any stronger than their own players, so Ryan vs Nica has a little more pride behind it. It’s going to be hype!!!

Nica KO made a post on Junkies essentially saying that he didn’t like the Titans format because he felt that the Titans should have to earn the spot fairly (somehow, up to 15 years of history isn’t enough merit). It was a bit harder to run the event in good faith if one of the people participating speaks out about it, so I had to change it again…I know it’s been wishy washy, but I think this is the final change.
I was hoping to see ryan destroy everyone with that stupid bitch chun li and then proceed to destroy everyone in the round robin. I thought the shorter sets would be cool and I’m a little confused because there’s pretty much no way in hell yang is beating chun li 10 times unless ryan is drunk.
We’ll certainly find out won’t we? 
Ryan still has the opportunity to bash everyone’s skull in in Singles. I really liked the Round Robin aspect; I plan on bringing it back next year (with the winners of this year receiving their spots).

Perhaps if they both win their FT10s, I could propose it. But I think 3 FT10s is overkill, and the other matchups were requested. Had it been a single FT10, Nica Yuuki would’ve worked since there was buildup leading to it, but the players involved requested these matches specifically.
