Somehow I think that even if IaMP had airthrows for all characters they wouldn’t be particularly useful for the majority of the cast, since most characters have a fuck of a lot better options air-to-air, particularly if the opponent blocks or airtechs a setup (Sakuya/Alice/Reimu/Patchu come to mind).

In BBB I find myself constantly wishing I had either an airthrow or an attack other than 5B that fucking airguardbreaks or punishes techs. And I’ve been playing Kunagi for fucks sake.

I believe I said I (had) no current interest in this game. I don’t think I said I wasn’t going to play it at all. IIRC, I said I would probably give it a try “eventually” because I usually at least give games a quick play-test try before passing my judgment. I’m not really taking it seriously though, just kind of messing around in training mode at the moment.

I’m pretty sure ArcanaHeart was the only game that I said I wasn’t ever going to play. I think I rather punch myself than play against Kira, Lillica, and Kamui.

Basically the same combos again, just optimized to include all the hits that I could get. The third combo I was experimenting with 2D 22A for a quick cancel. The forth I’m pretty sure is a totally optimized midscreen bnb. In the corner you can replace 6A with 624C.

Fucking A claw swipe does tons of damage, I mean I realize its senna but still.

I think everyone is goona play her now…

Especially now people know mow the game works there is no reason not to use her.

Is Kunagai just as good or better?

It only did that much damage because the claw was at the start of the combo, but who’s gunna get hit with a meaty claw anyway? It’s not practical, it’s just for show.

I think Kunagi has better pressure and mixups.

i played her in the begining she’s fun, but takes lots of damage which is annoying. I play daigo now. But i haven’t played in like months. Well since I was testing out that sanzou stuff.

this game needs serious revamp, plus all the max damage combos were found like the first week.
cept the heita 50% no meter shit, and the super heita 90% shit.

Yeah. Here’s what I think needs fixing:

  • Bursting needs to not be so fucking good. Make them slower and more punishable.
  • Guard reversals need to be more expensive, slower, and more punishable.
  • Wallslams need a max limitation (IMO 3 wallslams max), with 1 groundlslam max.
  • More moves need to be unairblockable – it’s stupid to have only 5B for anti-air guard break.
  • Uncomboable airthrows need to be added.
  • Hit/block advantage needs to be adjusted, speed needs to be adjusted
  • Scaled Knockback and gravity need to be adjusted
  • Proration on normals/specials/supers and damage scaling definitely needs adjusting.
  • Fix the fucking volume levels.

I agree with everything cept the wallslam limit, I like the way wallslams work currently. But everything else you are definetly spot on about.

no I agree with everything plus
-groundpriority to jumpins needs to be fixed(too fast,jump ins too slow)
-character jump attack animations need to hit crouching character( I mean c’mon)
-hidden cahrs not playable(in vs)
-heita dash cancel gone and super heitas
-less meter for combos, like too many gems IMHO. Alot of combos can go on forever, or way to long with this feature
-take delay wakeup and add like a roll or quick get-up thats punishable. ( I hate waiting and not being able to set up cool oki)

In addition to my complaints, I agree with you. But I kinda thought the Heita/super-Heita stuff was a given (like seriously).

Although I’m not really sure about the roll/wakeup stuff. That’s like a really big gray area for me though, so whatever.
