BIG BANG BEAT 2 - It Can't Be Worse Than MKV

It does feel like a sequel in the sense that a lot of stuff has been changed up. It’s just… not a very interesting sequel. Lol.

I mean im fine if they take it back to original roots this definitely just like an overhaul of the old system for now though. I think the sprite work is fine except they are using some sort of weird biliter on all the sprites now myabe it was always there its just noticable now that my monitor has much higher resolution. Im going to hold further judgement until the game comes out, im hoping dictator potemkin still has his old juice.

Also Ren has silly corner combos but damage still caps out around the same place as everyone elses : /

I think eternal fighter zero spoiled me as I can’t appreciate most other doujin, oh how I love me some EFZ

Game is now up for preorders

So like, I wanna play around with the first BBB, but I’ve heard that after a certain version they completely fucked it up.

What would be the best version of BBB?

Also, what are the system requirements for this game? I just tried the BBBR demo and it kept skipping like a broken record.

For people who are not liking the “filter”, there is a option to turn it off in the last demo…

1.01 was mainly patching out the early retarded stuff. So that would be what I would say would be best. From 1.02 onwards they started fucking with it and made it weird.

Game may play weird, but the tunes are catchy.

Yo, anyone notice how Kunagi’s 421a>c>22c gives hard knockdown AND puts you right next to the enemy for free oki tricks like sj>ff and teleport bs? As long as you have only used one bounce prior, its seems to be the best meterless ender.

Also, could someone upload a video of Kunagi’s infinite? I’d like to have all of the infinites and bugs visually documented to bring them to Frontier Aja’s attention. They’ve been really good about addressing every other bug/inf that’s been noted to date, and they’re known for paying attention to their fans. I wanna see this game become good.

Btw, has anyone tried messing around with Rouga’s 236b to see if you can rejuggle off of it for stupid free combo extensions like in BBB1? That shit made him dumb before, and he’s already got the potential for stupidity just by having that free 3x boost cancel for his unique action.

you can’t loop it from what i can tell… you can’t even start anything good off it cause the slide forward into kick doesn’t chain into weaker specials, i also can’t jump cancel it into grounded specials. I posted two vids with like simple rouga stuff, best damage i could get without looking into his dash canceling.

Meanwhile in Rouga land: Complete Bullshit.

[S]Also, here’s a BnB for Rouga that seems to be the most practical high damage one that is universal. There’s a much more damaging one, but the links in it are absolutely ridiculous and almost impossible to do consistently.[/S]

The game’s site
http://aja-games.com/products_BBBR/
has gotten a big chunk of new stuff.

Game looks good (for rehash). But I really don’t understand one thing:
They get rid of “super dashes” so why they keep “D” button?

It is now a unique button for certain characters. In the demo build, Rouga can boost like BBB1, Senna can heal, Kunagi can charge meter. Ren and Erika do not have a unique function for the D button.

Is this from the full version of the game?

If the game was released this weekend you can be sure that worldwide release is will be happening very soon. Unless they have top security on their software.

The full version is shipped out today. But BIGBANG mode can be done as a universal input in the demo ( atleast for the 5 chars)

What does BIGBANG mode do aside from letting you do a extra fancy super?

It enhances whatever your D button does. Rouga gets infinite dashes, characters that heal heal much faster, etc.

Ah, i see.
So all characters like Erika and Ren get from it is the special move?
Well, they’ll probably get their own unique mechanics too patched in somewhere down the line.
Speaking off: I wonder how the online is gonna fare, I guess we can take the fact that it won’t be added until December as a sign that they’re making sure it’s as good as they can make it.
