k, so i’ve been talking to eddder and he doesn’t really want to rent the van. Apparently he can borrow somebody’s truck for the drive up there, but it can only seat a few people.
Have you found anybody who can rent a van. I dont think edder will be willing to drive the van all the way up to Tallahassee. He might if i push him though.

I don’t think I can make it to Charlotte now. I was out of work all of last week cause my son had the flu, so I won’t have any money to go.

I heard about the bad luck. Sorry you couldn’t make it to Charlotte. I hope your boy didn’t get my tourny matches cause I fucked up bad in alot of those matches. I did however do well outside of the tourny. I had some good win streaks going like 10-15 wins in a row. I even got some wins against top players like Mixup, Xecutioner, Vegita-X, Matrix and more. Just sux I didn’t play that well in the tourny. I lost to Arturo and Matrix, and they aren’t even that good in MVC2.
If anyone is interested I posted a long detailed discussion on Colossus VS Sentinal in the Colossus Thread. Colossus can give Sentinal a run for his money and I shared a few pointers on how. I will have some more Colossus VS posts coming soon when I get some time.
Guys, I feel that it’s time to show the rest of the Marvel community just why we play what we play. I’m taking inputs for combos (flashy or just mad damage) that I’m gonna put into a combo video and distribute to the rest of the SRK community. Isaac (Tyranidman) is gonna do the editing for me. Anyone making contributions will be recognized in the vid. Any suggestions for music or anything like that will also be appreciated. Lets get the combos coming

Throw can be teched, but catches everyone off guard…Launch (d+fp), colossus’ assist, sj.hk, [colossus hits], sj.lk, sj.lk, [land], j.fp throw, j.hk, [land], Gamma Charge, Gamma Quake. You gotta call colossus between the launch and the super jump so it has to be quick

I’m not very computer litterit, so tell me if this will work.
I can record my combos on to VHS simple enough. Then I have a friend that has a VHS to DVD recorder. Once on DVD I can save it to my computer (I think), then possible e-mail to you. Will that work?
The size of the file you’d end up with would probably be the fly in the ointment, I suspect…
Still worth a try, though.
Okay, I just talked to my friend and he said he would copy my VHS tape to CD so I can save it to my computer. I just need to know how I’m going to send it to you. Via E-mail, or what? I’m gonna start recording my combos tonight.
I just had an unbelievable break through with Hulk.
That corner combo I posted a while back: launch, [sj] lp, lk, lk, fp, fk, lk, lk, [land], [sj], FP throw, fk+colossus AAA, [pause 1 sec], Gamma Crush. I could only get it to work 75% of the time on Sentinal, 50% of the time on DrDoom (or similar size chars. ie Hulk & Thanos), and 25% of the time on Cable. Any smaller than that I couldn’t land it.
Now I figured out the right procedure to land it everytime. During the FP and FK you hold any direction (preferably towards the opponent) and then immediately move another direction and lk at the same time. I think the FK recovers a few seconds sooner so you can land the lk. Kinda works like a sent fast-fly. Strange huh?
I can now land it on characters as small as bonerine. Amazing.:eek:

It’s been quite awhile since I posted anything re: Hulk… maybe it’s time to revisit one of the old threads & share what I’ve come across since then.
I can now expand a little further on the uses of the various Gamma Charges, as well as wavedash/dash-hop advanced tactics.
Be on the lookout…
I like to use airial gcharges for guard breaks. For example, before opponent comes in, call assist (i use Jugg punch or Colossus AAA) short Vertical GCharge then Horizontal GCharge its right when opponent comes into the screen, then opponent falls into assist trap.
Also a vert G Chargexxxinto Hor GCharge just a few inches off the ground has great recovery if the opponent blocks it. Only some characters with 2 or less frame attack moves (ie Mag or Storm) can hit Hulk before he recovers.
