I figured the brother as just not having faith in Jimmy to be legit and also being a paranoid loon who has OCD tendencies with his newspapers.
I loved the “S’all good, man” line (can’t remember if that was in BB) and him itemizing his expenses to rationalize his bribe. Even if the show is low drama, I would still watch a show about Jimmy sticking it to Hamlin every week.
It was an awesome flashback. Not only do we get where “Saul Goodman” came from, but how great of a con man he is. That howling signals his partner to be ready. Smart.
Once I saw Saul (should we call him Saul or Jimmy? I’m confused…) running towards the ladder, I knew something was up. He’s going to take down the billboard, but what a splash of publicity before that.
I think he just legitimately wanted the paper. At first I thought it was suspicion, but he said a line about “hard work looks good on you” and it sounded genuine. But it really doesn’t matter because after reading the article he knows 100% it was a scam.
You say that as if anyone wants to search using a gif of a guy jacking off in front of his mom without any context.
Anyway, I didn’t actually watch the movie, but after reading the summary it’s just one long kick to the viewers balls with fucked up shenanigan after fucked up shenanigan until a “meh” ending and the credits roll.
I’m getting the same vibes of The Boondocks giving away secrets from the hood (for free) every time I see these elaborate scams Saul pull off. I’m like “STFU yo lol”
Wonder if Mike will end up demonstrating his cleaner abilities to Saul using Nacho as his example, as he was introduced in BB taking care of Jane…
