And there it is… The downfall of Chuck!
So wait, he made up that bullshit disease because his ex left him and he wanted to get her back?
lol get 'em, Saul.
wat? He undertook a huge effort to HIDE his ‘disease’ from his ex. He thinks it’s real.
He has no disease. He thinks he does but he doesn’t. He’s basically a nut job.
Mental illness is a disease and it looks like it manifested while they were on the verge of splitting, like a LOT of people in here predicted.
Don’t think Chuck made up his condition, but rather it was a result from he and his wife splitting. I wouldn’t say Chuck is crazy, as he is fine without too much electronics around him, but it’s obvious, and has been obvious from season one, that his condition is all in his head. The pain he feels, or thinks he feels, is very real, but only if he is aware of said electronic devices. Either way, it looks like Jimmy cornered Chuck. I’m interested to see how the BAR will figure this into their decision. Can’t wait for the next episode, as usual.
Also, it was great to see Yule make a cameo. I’m sure we’ll see Bill Burr’s character make an appearance at some point as well.
Huell. I made that mistake too until I read a Wiki.
I’m wondering what they do if Chuck ends up disbarred or dead by the end of the season. There’s no going back from this.
Its masterful, you’re so happy you want to yell “Fuck Chuck!” but on the other hand, he’s been correct in everything so far. Jimmy did tank his case.
Huell lost a bunch of weight :wow:
his head shape is so weird!
Lose weight = automatically younger version of yourself. Just look at Jimmy/Saul and Yule. lol
he is almost unrecognizable!
Btw I still remember the memes about him waiting an eternity LOL
Edit: Damn, Breaking Bad was simply Genius:

Oh, shit! We finally have Saul Goodman!
Poor Nacho. At least now we know he definitely dies between this show and BB.
Kim: “Saul Goodman?”
Jimmy: “It’s just a name.”
Kim: “Huh…”
[black screen]
Great way to end the episode.
I just can’t get enough of this show. The sub plot behind Pollos Hermanos, but specifically, Nacho’s slow process of backing out of this entire thing is absolutely enthralling. And it was done masterfully. From Hector’s critiquing of his way of handling business with his drug peddlers, to that lackey dismissing the severity of Victor pulling a gun on him, and finally, Hector trying to incorporate his father’s business into the drug trade? Amazing.
For some reason, I’m absolutely loving that despite all the speculation about maybe a falling out with or a death of Chuck or Kim being the origin of Saul Goodman, the origin is as trivial as selling commercials.
It reminds me of Breaking Bad, when people were speculating about when Skyler would find out about Walt’s meth dealing. Then he just reveals it to Skyler early in Season 3 after she caught him in a web of lies Season 2.
Give skylar some credit, she figured it out on her own. Not Meth, specifically, but drugs.
Also, I wouldn’t be so sure on Nacho getting offed. I mean its likely, of course, but if the theory that Nacho = Ignacio that Saul mentions in the desert, then he must still be around for another few years.
I said “after she caught him”…
Like, people were probably expecting another lie from Walt (like gambling, on the level of what Skyler spun up), but he just came out with it.
Saul Goodman was an alias used by “Slippery Jimmy” in his con artist days. I am certain it was mentioned in the flashback of the episode “Hero” or season 1 finale.
I am feeling that the show does not really live up to its name. It is more accurately described as Breaking Bad: The Prequel. Season 1 was deeply invested in Jimmy McGill as a character and had an interesting sidestory with Mike and another less interesting side story with Nacho. Season 2 consisted of Jimmy making an ass out of himself with the relationship between Mike and Nacho often being the focus. Season 3 is just a mish-mash of exposition about various character relationships with a spotlight on Gus Freeman. It is not bad, but at this point they may as well end the facade and call the show “Los Pollos Hermanos”. At least Fargo season 3 is delivering on its premise.
Fargo this season is not as good as the previous ones.
This was always about how Jimmy got into bed with all of these players in BB.
Nonsense, season 3 is on par with season 1 and far better than season 2. Season 3’s Ewan Mcgregor, Michael Stuhlbarg, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and David Thewlis steal the show. I found season 1’s Martin Freeman, Billy Bob Thorton, Colin Hanks, and Allison Tolman equally as captivating when it was released. Season 2’s Kirsten Dunst, Jesse Plemens, and the entire cast of actors portraying the Gerhardt and Kansas City families just fell flat in comparison.
To me Fargo has always been a dark comedy about first time criminals engaging with career criminals while being investigated by zealous law enforcement officers and cracking in the process. For the most part Season 3 has delivered on that premise. The only episode of season 3 that has fallen flat is episode 3 which contained a loosely related sidestory involving the dull Sheriff Gloria Burgle character and her step father’s backstory. Outside of that sidetrack it has been a joy to watch and I unfortunately cannot say the same about season 2 and 3 of Better Call Saul. In fact, I am now more interested in what Saul did after Breaking Bad. Hopefully the show lasts long enough to expand on that.
