Chuck is such a fuccboi. Jimmy put all that work in, passed the bar and even developed a multi-million dollar case and Chuck STILL shitted on him

The BB has had characters who’ve murdered many people, yet Chuck topped my list of most hated right now

Chuck defo entering Jesse tier at a steady pace atm.

I think the “you’re not a real lawyer” line was too much from Chuck, but I can understand him being cautious about Jimmy slipping (PUN INTENDED) into his old ways. Chuck built that law firm from the ground up and is deathly afraid of Jimmy fucking it all up. If you think about it, Jimmy doing something shady while under the employment of HHM could cause the whole firm to go belly up. I still feel for Jimmy and want him to succeed as a viewer (even though we know what his fate is), but I can also see where Chuck is coming from.

Funny that one of the themes in Breaking Bad was family being everything but Chuck doesn’t seem to care. :stuck_out_tongue:

You cant totally fault Chuck because he wants to protect what hes built. Its not like Jimmy hasnt been using any shady tactics or doing some things outside the law in the last little while. Chuck has the right to be cautious and had a huge hand in building the case thus far to where its almost as much his as it is Jimmy’s.

The big issue here is that Chuck should’ve told Jimmy all that shit before leading him on, then sneaking behind his back like a coward to fuck him over

But Chuck hid it all dirty deeds and then verbally shitted on Jimm, not cool at all, son.

Plus Chuck been bullshitting everybody and himself with his electrophobic ass, the sad thing is it starts out like hes a loving big brother hes been looking out for Jimmy, bailing him outta jail, representing, getting him a job but after all Jimmy has done (including looking after him and not sending him to the crazy house) Chuck cant see him as an equal. I hope he ends up in the asylum and they taze fuck outta his ballsack.

I wonder if Huell and Kuby’s debuts involve fucking with Chuck using random appliances

Exactly.

Jimmy’s unerring devotion and sense of responsibility to him, even after Chuck’s betrayal (getting him a final round of supplies) should be proof enough that he was deserving of a second chance. It’s not like Jimmy was asking to be a partner.

Fuck a Chuck.

I’m pretty sure this sets the background for the transition from Jimmy to Saul. Why is he going to try and be a respectable lawyer when his own brother will never see him that way? Might as well be a profitable lawyer since the prestige will never be there.

For anyone who’s interested, AMC posted a comic depicting just exactly how Saul came to find out who Walter White was.

Thats pretty cool; though honestly that could have made an interesting episode of Better call Saul if they wanted to go that route

A good season finale. Overall, I really enjoyed Better Call Saul. It wasn’t as fast paced as some people wanted to be, but it did show a lot about Jimmy that we didn’t know about. It gave him enough depth and character that you can not only empathize with his character in Better Call Saul, but go back and appreciate his character in Breaking Bad.

I hope season 2 focuses more on the various shifty characters he will meet, now that he’s decided to be bad.

The season finale wasn’t as good as last episode, but a solid episode nonetheless. Kind of neat to see that this is the turning point for Jimmy becoming a “good criminal” as Mike would probably put it. Interested to see where the direction of the show goes at this point, since the entire point of this season’s story arc was establishing the background of Saul as Jimmy and what motivated him to become that sleazy mall strip lawyer.

i was disappointed that i didn’t get to see mike more, otherwise pretty solid.
so jimmy finally takes the proverbial road to damascus…
how many seasons are they planning? I feel like they’ll be really in the thick of the more BB elements by next season. maybe that’s wishful thinking.
i appreciate how they made hamelin’s character, would have been easy to take that overboard but he didn’t come across as being that bad really.

Maybe I missed it, but why did Jimmy bail on meeting with the attorneys from the other office? It seemed like a sweet deal.

He bailed on a life of potential success that was legit because he thought it was boring and/or not lucrative enough.

Damn, Marco forgot to DAAAAABLE CHECK his cholesterol

The story of how Saul got his ring was incredible. That attention to detail was really cool. Didn’t know it was the season finale, though. Gonna miss this show

damn that finale was some bullshit, hell I think i fell asleep during the bingo scene. 2/10.
