How can I clean my buttons without taking them out? Im rocking with an old mass but I don’t want to remove teh buttons.
Are they sticky? Dusty?
I can’t imagine a way to access the button clips without taking the button out (since there are clips on both sides). The other buttons and wires will get in the way.
Forgive me if I’m ignorant about Mas, but last I heard they just have simple screw in buttons (Think of a nut and bolt, the bolt is the button). If you are careful about the wiring, you could probably unscrew each button pretty easily after lifting the cabinet.
After that, just unclip the plunger from the outer casing and see if there’s any gunk in there. Clean with a q-tip around the inside of the casing and the outside of the plunger.
the ground is a very annoying hard wire so it makes it a pain to take out just a button.
Sorry to hear that… Sorry but I don’t have a clue. I would say wipe it with rubbing alcohol (incase it’s some sort of dust or stain) but you risk damaging the microswitch if there’s too much.
I don’t know of any way to remove the plunger w/o removing the button from the case.
