Itās the RAM. Try reseating it, and if that doesnāt work run it with separate sticks of RAM until you find the bad stick.
Lol that sucks. Something is DOA obviously :-P. You did the bleep test ? I dabble and built my own pc but am only ok with troubleshooting. if its not the ram I would take the cmos out of the mobo for a bit and see if it resets anything? If not I am clueless because the pc isnāt in front of me.
I was wondering what it could be if not the ram lol. Normally thats what 1-2 beeps mean if im not mistaken. Canāt remember.

if its not getting past the post it could be a number of things if you arent even getting error (beep codes). sometimes it could be something simple, or it could be a faulty harware componet. more info is needed.
Ok I just downloaded Photoshop3 the other day and I just downloaded the SFIV mockup so I can see how artwork looks on a fightstick. How do I go about using it? It says paste artwork here but how do I paste a template I have saved there? I tried grabbing it and putting it as a layer from a jpeg but it doesnt work. thanks.
oh it was the ram, thanks for the help though. For the record itās an i5, with a 460 msi cyclone.
So itās running off of 2 gigs. Told my friend to take it back to the shop. took out one stick, and the computer didnāt restart and the mem test passed with flying colours. Unless itās the slot. You know whats even odder? There was a specific slot I had to stick it in when I ran dual channel. (I put it in blue on blue and the computer wouldnt boot up but when I put it in the 2 black slots it worked???)
Got it running with windows 7 64 bit using the student discount for my friend, while I put a 32 bit of XP, which caused a little headache prior to this issue. Iām guessing the 64 bit installion was too much for the ram.
You open the Mockup and you open the Template.
You Copy the Template without the stupid Layers.
You Paste to the Mockup Layer telling you to.
You run the Action.
I donāt know why you canāt do.

umm I have them both opened right now. I have the Jpeg form ( no layers ) and it is not letting me copy it to where it says paste here.
Is your Template have a lock on it?
nah i changed it from background to layer 0 so it would take the lock off. How do you copy a layer? I canāt see both sets of layers because it only shows whatever the last picture you clicked ons layers. ugh
Control + A, then Control + C?
haha i control + c , then control + v but it pastes it on that layer and it takes up the entire screen instead of putting it on the fightstick?

Then you run the Action after Paste.
sorry but how do you run action?
Alt + F9.
That will have you see the Actions Window.
Then drag the .atn file into that Window.
Then just press on Play when you done Paste your Template.
I showed it in the Template Thread.
You can try to find it if you want.
Iām not going to look for.
I remember watching my buddy manually resizing 200 photos from a digital camera for web size. I let him do 20 of them before I taught him about actions and batch. I figured if I let him struggle the hard way for a bit he would appreciate and remember the lesson a little bit more.
yeah i dont get actions at all haha. Ill try and learn them. I learned how to paste it into the correct layer and everything now but its way too big for the template.
