You’re lucky. I moderate a small non-gaming forum and the admin there is generally indifferent to registration issues i.e. too lazy to implement measures that might cut down on the number of spambots. At this point I just look at the who’s online and check the newest registrant. If they have a signature in their link that’s in engrish they get banned no questions asked.
Lolque
Im screwed
WAY less than a transmission fix for sure! thats some good luck if you think about it haha.
on a side note… if I ONLY WAITED ANOTHER HOUR for the temp to rise a bit before I painted yesterday I wouldnt have a fucking train wreck of a sanding job to fix… sigh… so much to do now haha looks HORRIBLE…
so. i saw one of DSP’s video on the media page. saw his auction links. “CAPCOM” Arcade Fight Stick PS3; Darksydephil - eBay (item 260697966721 end time Dec-01-10 11:04:39 PST)
WTF are people smoking, i understand that some people want to support him. but shit, it doesnt even look like it took much effort at all to put together.
SRSLY?
:wow:… thats it I’m putting my sticks up for sale on ebay…
I don’t know what is so special about DSP’s hands (if you know, please tell me).
Cause obviously they are special enough for someone to buy a now $45 stick for $300+

I wanna stab the guy that made the 305$ bid on that thing, I dont care that its his money and that he gets hard-ons for DSP I still wanna stab him
all i know is that D3V has a few words to say about the custom art.
laugh.
Wow. Just wow. It would have been even better if he used the obligatory Chun art.
…I painted my SE, and it has artowrk and “SANWA” joystick with “SEIMITSU” buttons. So, is it now worth $300?
YES! i’ll buy it!

Oh hey, that’s cute. He’s got an SE up for sale, lamilabel, button swap, stick swap, and…nothing else. That’s it. Oh, you can get it signed by ‘DSP and the crew’, whatever the hell that means. Well, I can’t fault a guy for trying. Maybe a $70 stick, $100 if he gets lucky and someone likes the artwork…
That can’t be right. Please, someone convince me that it’s people trolling DSP and messing with his auction.
can you troll on ebay? i thought once you win the bid, you have to commit to it?
If you win the auction. You can cancel your bid in most cases before you win.
you can troll if you (another account) or a friend was the one that won the bid, you can request cancelling the deal and if both sides agree it gets cancelled, the request can be done from either side.
Idk though, I doubt thats what happening with that stick.
Oh. My. God. Their Thread: Round 1 Custom Joysticks - MadCatz SE Modded sticks
One guy said most sticks don’t look as good as this? Dude! Someone from tech talk needs to reroute these guys to the custom sticks thread! They think this is hard work? Double wireless with LEDs? MC Cthuhlu with RJ-45 and IMP with 360 in custom cases?
People need some education :arazz:
yeah that ebay listing wreaks of serious douchebaggery, i just dont hope the person who buys this posts it in my new arcade stick thread as some hot deal they got…besides dsp really? i kno he has a small following of fans and supporters, but his name isnt enough to justify the big price hike on a maybe $80 custom. I’ve never seen this guy in any serious tourneys this year… im not hating, but thas just too much of a rip off. For that price one could have a really fine custom from any of the well established and over performing modders here!
Well, your ebay account will take a negative feedback. All a question of how much a single negative feedback might hurt you. If its a new/fake account, and you dont plan on using it again, dont matter at all.
But, I just had a more brilliant plan. DSP or crew bid way high with an account, tell runner up that the highest bidder was a troll and offer to sell for somewhere between their highest bid and the highest bid of the person below them. Not unheard of on ebay at all. Not kosher, but doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen.
Here’s the brilliant part. Do the same thing for everyone who bid over say $70. It’s a damn button swap and lamilabel. SE’s are in the $30 range without looking hard. You just sold 5-10 SE’s at different prices all well over your cost.
(Please, God, I know I don’t believe you exist, but seeing proof of this being people fucking with DSP would really help my warm fuzzys towards humanity as a whole.)
