I’ve used both JLF octo, as well as LS-32 Round. Neither gave me a sufficient feeling of my diagonals. I also did not have a problem catching on corners on square gates after an hour or two on them when I stopped using the full throw distance as the basic engage.
It’s very different from a Sanwa Octo. It sort of has deep a groove at each direction and it will “catch” the joystick , you definitely feel all 8 directions. And the throw is tiny compared to Sanwa Octo gate.
Since you only have 4 switches (for the 4 cardinal directions) you’re going to want the biggest amount of space in the diagonals to make sure you engage both switches properly.
Nope, unless you have some sort of cooling solution, the only thing you’ll end up doing is taking a device that already gets hot and making it even hotter.
I think it is even a bad idea to get a high performance notebook in the first place. Because of the heat build up, high end notebooks tend to not last longer than 3 years, well in my experience.
Well, I’m in a different situation.
My laptop sux ass and I can’t even play MBAC with 2 players each on a stick without the framerate dropping.
I’d never buy a laptop again, but I can’t afford a desktop at this time, and I’m getting pissed off at this thing’s horrible performance.
I grabbed this POS laptop 2 years ago on sale for $320. And I did not expect that I would want to emulate all of these systems suddenly.
So like every other American I will complain that I want something better, but I sadly do not have the money at the moment. And no one is hiring for shit.
So, I vent my frustration on the internet even though I know it’s not solving anything.
EDIT: And even then my future desktop is around $950 (budget gaming rig)
Since I dont need hardware to help with Dreamcast…I have two pins on the new boards that I dont have a clue what to do with. On board LED’s? Not much of a need, since I can access other LEDs. Shouldn’t need a dedicated switch for bootloader. Hmmm…I hate the idea of wasted potential but I got no idea what to do with these.
