So I have the Sony HDD that came bundled with FFOnline and I was wondering if there was any reason why I couldn’t use HDloader/advance on it? Looking online all I found were websites saying to purchase a HD and format it but nowhere did I find any info on using the Sony HDD. Any info is appreciated.
You can use the sony hdd. Usually people don’t because they don’t want to buy it and prefer a standalone basic hdd because it’s cheaper. Afaik, the sony hdd is completly normal. You may want to double check in case there were some specific procedure, but I know it’s 100% possible since I’ve played on a ps2 using both hdadvance and the sony hdd. Well, I don’t know for Hdloader but I guess it’s pretty much the same (though hdavance has more possibilities)
Imports worth checking out.
Neo Geo Battle Coliseum: Great game!!! This is a real big comeback for SNK
King of Fighters Neo Wave: Very good too. Paved the wave for NGBC
Naruto Naurtamett Hero 3. They changed the system drastically in this one. No more multi linked button mash supers like before. Although the ?transformed? states can be a little overpowered. Drunken Rock Lee = too good /broken. I haven?t played with any of the summons yet (can?t figure out how to do them).
Samurai Spirits Tenkaichi Kenkakuten: Haven?t played it but I hear nothing but good things about it.
Vampire Chronicles: It?s every Darkstalkers Game in one disc. You can?t ask for much more.
King of Fighters 94 Rebout: Worth it on pure nostalgia alone. You have the remake and the original on one disc. Also you can Change the backgrounds from the 3d ones to the originals too. It?s a great little package.
Guilty Gear 2X # Reload the Midnight Carnival (gotta love the long ass title): this one has been said 1000 times but I?ll say it too. Get the Korean version if you can it is by far the best one and has the best music in it too. If not the JP version is just as good.
The Rumble Fish: I haven?t played this yet but I hear good things about it.
Psychic Force complete: I loved the old PF games so this was a must for me. It?s definitely different and can be a lot of fun.
Samurai Spirits Zero AKA Samurai Shodown 5: Other than the load times it?s pretty good.
Garou Mark of the Wolves: What #rd Strike is to SNK. Extremely good game that deserved a lot more attention.
Sega Ages 2500 Vol 19 Fighting Vipers: Good for a Trip down Memory lane.
Dream Mix TV World Fighters: Think Super Smash but with Optimus Prime, Master Higgins (Adventure Island guy) and Solid Snake. A lot of fun and the boss is some Hulk Hogan Wanna be in a UFO.
Sega Ages 2500 Vol 19 Virtual Fighter 2: another fun trip down memory lane. Then go back to Viruta Fighter 4 Evo.
SVC Chaos: Still sucks but if you have to have every SNK/Capcom cross over go for it. You can have still some fun with it. But don?t expect anything great from it.
I have money to spend on one game. In your opinion(anybodies), what would be worth getting. NGBC or waiting for SS:Tenka to come out?
I would say NGBC would be a very wise investment.
Yeah. After spending some time in the NGBC thread and looking at some websites I’ve decided to go with this one now and Tenka later. I’m sure I’ll like Tenka, but NGBC looks like too much fun to pass up.
