Going by tournament results, definitely. However, there is a guy called Killa Sasa who runs Spidey/Hawkeye/X-23 who might be able to give him a run for his money. I think he’s ranked in the top 50 or so on Xbox Live, but he is legit and not merely an online warrior.

Ditto on the tourney results too. Until I bring my ass to a major I’m just going to hold off on best anything. Need to be a bit more consistent too, but I’m sure I can sling webs pretty decently.

2nd tier would be like me and Andre I guess even though I’ve bodied him in every tourney or money match we’ve ever played.
My videos are ass, to be blunt. I’m much more of a set player.
But really, I don’t like how streaky I can be in tourney settings. 2/3 Marvel is not enough for me. Not to mention I’ve had to show everyone in my scene how to get out of all of my setups so I can better myself. In a bit of a middling period right now :p. Been playing essentially the same team since day 1 Vanilla, gone from zero to somewhat of a hero IMO.
I can find some stuff but it won’t blow your mind. That’s not to say I don’t know how to play this game though, haha.

I think the team is pretty cheap though. Pretty decent technology/gimmicks/setups/whatever in it. Until I do better in a major (unless people play me for themselves), I’m not gonna push it on people, however. It has its gaps but most of it is overcome by smart play and this team can handle almost the entire cast IMO. Plus, it’s all characters I like either due to their history or their gameplay, which is the biggest factor for me. There are debateably stronger loadouts for Peter but this is my favourite one and I like the chops I see in it.
I made it outta EVO pools with Spidey/IM/X-23, and that was when I was still pretty garbage at this game. I’ve gotten muuuuuuch better since then (as has everyone else, hopefully). Wish I was going to EVO this year to really test the waters. Have to wait till Canada Cup due to real life.

Speaking on the topic of team structure, it seemed like having Wesker in the back was a big barrier to you being able to get past ChrisG at UFGT (what’s he going to do against the spam?). You were great in that tournament, by the way, and showed a lot of mental stability which I sometimes think is probably the most important thing for a tournament player to have. That victory over Flocker was worth cheering over.
But every well-constructed team has a specific game plan in mind, even though that plan may not work against all teams. In Killa Sasa’s case (shoutouts to GAF), I think his Spidey is just supposed to harass the opponent and keep on pressure with the help of Hawkeye’s arrows to control the horizontal space while building up meter for X-23 anchor, who in most scenarios is pretty much guaranteed to kill two characters (Dirt Nap FTW). A really good X-23 is effective enough that you pretty much want to snap her in right away. Dirt Nap is…dirty.

He’s one of the best, definitely, but I don’t think he tops Yipes or PR Balrog. But yo, can we get a top Dante player that doesn’t confirm off hard knockdowns with Cold Shower?

If I remember right Evil Rahsaan dropped Spidey. Don’t know who he’s running nowadays.
