Well as far as anyone’s concerned, that money match is gonna have to wait. Plus Joker coming to the States isn’t so much a possibility as it seems.
I just think Clockwork’s Strider still uses a lot of things that your average Strider doesn’t really use. You don’t see a lot of Strider abuse that formation B cancels out gram, ame-no-kuro to create pressure…for example.
I’m not saying there can’t be a better Strider than Clockwork, but you don’t see a lot of Striders that understand all of their tools like Clockwork does.
You also don’t see a lot of Striders though.
Kusoru’s V.Joe isn’t the top. IDK why people put him as top Joe. He hides behind log trap assist…thats it. Hes not the best but hes not bad either.
Probably because he’s the most successful Joe on American soil, and there aren’t many Joes. I mean, if you don’t follow Joe specifically, you probably only know him, Royal Flush and Dieminion, and maybe Howtoread.
Funny thing about good Joe players is they either zone really well or they know pretty optimal combos. Very rarely you see both 
People saying Die has the best Joe are hilarious. Howtoread has the best Joe easily
Personally I found Clock looked a lot better last week, so I reconsidered him for that reason. And if people went by player skill wouldn’t that make Clock more of a consideration for best Strider? Or are you saying Clock isn’t as skilled with the character as other players. I can’t agree with you there honestly, he’s one of the few players who reps him well still
As for Chou, he seemingly has an understanding of the character you’d only get from not playing him as XF3 anchor so I’ve always considered him the best since then. I was watching kubodsgarden live so there was enough of his Strider for me to make that judgement. If there’s a bandwagon of people calling him the best Strider, it’s likely I was one of the few who started it. He dropped him but I’ve yet to see anyone do anything with the character since aside from mashing out with XF3 orbs (no offense to you or your norcal boys), even if I didn’t consider Chou best Strider anymore, there’s literally nobody but Clock looking to take that spot

Not to be picky or anything, but I have been very deliberate with my wording… Though my point was that if we were to think of a Magneto player, we would think of Fanatiq (I think, lol), I didn’tactually say Fanatiq had the best Magneto. Earlier in this thread I said that if we were to judge players based on tournament placings, we could argue that Filipino Champ had the best Magneto.
The above argument could also be used for Padtrick’s and Clockw0rk’s Hiryu. I can also give you many instances where Clockw0rk has used Strider on point or as the second character, such as the Socal Regionals.
And I was aware of Chou before this thread. He won Kubodsgarden, and he did so with Strider on point. His level of skill is on display there.

Dunno how anyone can pick fanatiq for best magneto. When you’re not innovating any tech and not doing optimized combos you’re definitely not the best at the character. He may be a better player than RayRay or Joker but his magneto is not better. I really don’t think theres any argument for him over either of those two unless for some reason you want to bring player skill into the question. Fanatiq doesn’t use magneto to his max potential and thats not debatable.
I’d prolly pick Liquidmetal or RayRay as best magneto from what I’ve seen. I only saw one video of joker and theyve taken down all his vids now.

As for Chou, there’s like 50+ matches of him available now for Vergil reference, though admittedly only about 10 or so showcasing his Strider. I’m actually not sure if he has the best Strider at the moment, especially with the number of Strider players that were present at KVO (like Jerryboy, he had a lot of interesting tech). There’s also a lot of Striders that just derp around with Oroborous, you can’t really use this as a judge of skill in most cases.

Going by Fanatic’s post in the Stream Thread - his combos are optimized and do more damage than the MagBlast loops.
I’m gonna believe him.
Back in February when we were having these conversations, I was doing much much more damage. I just recently spoke to alioune, and he told me his numbers and I was still doing a good more damage than him. He had a new combo which did more damage and hypergrav loop was STILL doing more damage. He then optimized it and with him optimizing it as far as he could go, he did 7500 more damage than hypergrav loop. Literally 7500 more damage… Sure My magneto sucks for not doing that. You wanna talk spacing/movement…actually I’m not. What do I have to prove? I’m going to treat this community like mvc2. I suck and have no idea what I’m doing. Just play me for money, or bet against me when I’m playing for money. You’ll be shocked every time.
