Looking to buy a new 40inch (or thereabouts) LCD.
Since I spend 50% of my time in front of the TV playing SSFIV I figure low lag is one of my primary concerns.
Been looking at the Sharp AQUOS TVs which have 19ms lag… seems to be the lowest I’ve found. Unfortunately they don’t seem to provide good value for money nor sensible connectors on the back for legacy consoles. The extra yellow pixels on the AQUOS seems to also be a gimmick with zero benefits according to most good tech review websites… paying for gimmicks grr.
Some of the Sonys have 80-90ms (ouch), but the standard lag in game mode for most TVs seems to be around 30ms. That’s almost 2 whole frames!
Any recommendations?
