And I still stand by saying Alex’s DDT is useful, and it’s not my problem if you can’t get the setup correctly. Think of it as Chun-Li’s split kick: you dash in, and do it. Throw your opponent off. No one expects it, I probably can get it on you if we were to play. Calling the move “useless” made me believe you had no idea what you were talking about. Probably still don’t, but whatever. Hell, the DDT is good to get behind your opponent, and dodge his c.hk.

Got back to using Alex, forgot how simple to learn at first.
You got yer MP meter builder, meaty MK xx EX/LP Chop and MK xx SA2, stomp mixups, tick throws.
I’m doing much better with Alex with only a few weeks of practise than I ever did with Ken.

I’m not sure sometimes lol, cos of the recent matches I had against JR that got taped, but I think I have a better idea how to face him and superior players in general these days.
I remember you and Ghetto D making me nervous cos I didn’t think Alex could be so scary for Necro, and this is partially when I used to be the Alex player in that match-up and my jump-ins were beat cleanly w/ Necro’s back-FIERCE of all things!

This is referring to the topic that arose within the thread topic: does anyone recall that famous discovery about someone high-parrying Yun’s cr.mk? I think that was what happened, that had caused such a commotion over online play, but was it 2df or ggpo?
I also prefer offline play cos I like cab sticks better than the tons of console sticks and custom sticks I’ve tried at home/friends’ homes :’( there was ONE custom stick I tried that a friend made that was AWESOME: it was for 2 players and basically looked and felt like the ACTUAL, LITERAL arcade stick. It was built into a coffee table (plenty of arm room) and even when the table wobbled a bit as we played, everything worked virtually flawlessly! O_O like 720s and other super-cancels. He even had it wired to be compatible w/ everything from the latest consoles at the time (ps2, e.g.), to snes, genesis etc.
