Can someone recommend the best joystick that is both works really well and is compatible with both PC and the PS2? I have a x-arcade right now but am looking to replace it. I want joystick that has ZERO lag issue with both PS2 and PC. My X-Arcade right now has slight lag on the PS2 (not that bad) and it has horrible lag on the PC.

The PRICE is $99 wich is pretty damm good for an arcade stick.
and if you truly want the best then i really recommend this, that is if your willing to shell out more than $300 for arcade stick but its definately worth it.

Do the Hanchos have no lag on the PC? Is it possible to play this stick on the PS2 with converters (with no lag)?

What you need
Look for something called a “PC 3 in 1 Joybox” or something like that. It’s a black PS2/Saturn/N64(?) to PC usb adapter thing. Granted it only supports one player but they’re cheap so you can buy extras.
I’ve tested it using a saturn pad, Tekken 5 stick, Saturn Virtua stick, etc and everything ran flawlessly. I’m surprised I get any shit done when I go somewhere with my laptop and saturn pad.
Get the Hori Real Arcade Pro and get a PS2 to PC USB converter.
The HotRod is way overpriced. It’s like paying $100 for that crappy mall arcade feel.

Any ps dual shock stick with the radio shack converter.
But get a custom sanwa one and get the converter for 11 bucks.

i have xbox to usb converter and i use hori fighting stick EX and it works fine with no lag, im sure if u got hori real arcade pro and used a ps2 to usb converter it will be the same for u2
i got the ps2 to usb radioshack converter 11 bucks and no lag on mame cept for the standard online stuff works perfect with my sc2 stick i’m getting a custom in a few days i’ll post up how it is on mame but i don’t expect any problems
edit: and if you got 3 bills to spend get tha darkside to make you a custom sanwa fuck that overpriced piece of shit that slikstik makes

If it’s in your budget, I’d say buy a stick from Tha Darkside or Dreaded Fist. It’ll be costly, so I dunno, you may regret it.

sanwa customs are very expensive so if you got the cash then go for it however the best thing to do is to get a converter and get a hori far cheaper than spending all that cash versus darkside or even mas systems(two very expensive sticks)
