Best Console Version of 3S

xbox is faster and if you want to make a vid it doesn’t have the sound options ps2 has to turn off the music

After playing the xbox version for awhile I decided to practice on the PS2 version for the hell of it one day. The game felt like it ran alot smoother on the PS2 version, moves felt like they were coming out easier. But maybe that could have been I was using the magic box with the xbox for my stik, but I heard there’s no lag at all with that.

their is nothin wrong with the DC verison nigga
You just dont like it
On the Real all 3 version are good…

You don’t play 3S don’t you?

WTF…??? You’re joking right?

There really isnt much wrong with the DC version unless you feel like bitching. That being said the PS2 version is still better.

Sucks that in the Xbox you can’t turn off their shitty music. Pisses me off.

There’s stuff that shouldn’t be difficult or too difficult because it gets amplified when you play the DC version, so there is reason to bitch because the arcade version is the standard. If you don’t plan onto playing the arcade version, and don’t care about everyone else not playing the DC version, then no need to bitch about it. The biggest problem of course with the DC version is that hit-confirms are gone. That alone should be the reason not to even play that version of the game. Then there’s the lag input that will mess up your timing if you play the arcade version after it.

Yeah yeah, there’s some people that learn the timing for both version, but it’s only worth it if your stuck with the DC version. If not, don’t waste your time learning that shit.

That and the lag input ends up making combos with restrict timing even tighter like: Ken’s UOH, s.strong xx SA3, doing multiple MGBs as a juggle with Dudley, Urien’s foward tackle x 2 combo, and much more I can’t think of atm. Then there’s Yun SA3, who gets screwed on the DC because doing all of his GJ shit is much faster than it would be in the arcade version, and in some cases you have minute timing on moves (like kara palms). The DC version just isn’t worth playing if you want to play 3s on a high level.

I have one for Dreamcast and ps2. i split my time on them evenly.

shhh, don’t tell anyone that the DC version sucks because I want to sell my two copies that I stole from EBGames on Ebay for 40 bucks a pop.

Yeah, their still there but they aren’t as nearly as helpful, especially if play the arcade version. So even though, their dead to me. You got me though.

I seriously doubt this thread will hurt your chances in selling your copies. Seeing how rare the DC version is nowadays, you could sell em’ 90 bucks a pop like all the other places are doing.

Even though I have the DC and PS2 versions, I personally like the PS2 one of the reasons you can switch the music between the Dreamcast remixes or the Arcade OST.

I know it’s not gonna happen, but a PC version would be great.

No wonder I can’t ever do any of that stuff at home. I always thought it was my Agetec…

Actually, you can emulate DC on your comp these days.

def the ps2 version of AC i tried the x-box one but it feels diff to me and ive played on the dreamcast and its laggy but still good so go with the ps2 version
