  • Hey, the song was used in games that weren’t even in the* Street Fighter* continuity.

  • Tekken 6 feels like it’s coming out of some wrestling game.

  • I like 3rd Strike’s solely because Infinite was doing it. :S

  • 2nd Impact:Giant Attack has a good one too.

  • New Generation: was also a good one.

  • Virtua Fighter has one of the best with their original 93 song.

  • Alpha 3 Character select remix in SVC.

  • KoF’s got a great one for the system select mode in 98.

…what’s weird is that we’re going to be seeing a credits thread, too.

SF4. Seriously, even if you don’t like The Next Door/Indestructible, the version used for the character select is awesome.

ST also ranks pretty high, even if it is just the opening theme from the CPS1 games.

I like the capcom vs snk 2 player select theme along with the groove select. Some of you guys may hate the announcer and all, but I personally liked it a lot. It sets a tournament-like feel to the game.

KOF 99 is also pretty awesome. I remember that was the time the series took an edgier approach to the music.
