The last tourney I went to in Orlando, the custom sound track of MvC2 had Rick Astley’s “never going to give you up” as the stage select music. The whole tourney got rickrolled before every match.

That, and Samurai Shodown II had music to make you feel like some real shit was about to go down

Samurai Showdown 2 and 3 had the best character select after Third Strike. Of course SS3 had the best ending theme, if you could stomach beating that fucking game

Power Instinct Legends and Art of Fighting 2 have terrible character select music, I was hoping not to see them here.
