Everyone I know who has played this game meantions the charatcre select music. I idea of the main intrument changing depending on which character you had highlighted was awesome.
Somehow I missed this thread until now… Streets of Rage 2 immediately came to mind: [media=youtube]1UztW8CY_BI[/media] The entire SOR2 soundtrack is like a perfect soundtrack to life in generally, actually. I’ve listened to the music from that game probably millions of times over since the game came out.
Also legendary— the Bloody Roar Primal Fury select screen theme: [media=youtube]jhF4TimGG1w[/media] I don’t even remember the other tracks from the game, but I definitely saved that one and made an mp3 of it immediately…I’ve been listening to it regularly for years.
It doesn’t matter if it’s a fighting game or not. As long as it’s a music that plays when your are selecting a character.
