Secret Wars refers to a once very popular series in the Marvel universe, it’s a comic book thing. When I heard the title I was like someone did their homework. I think I still have some of the issues boxed up somewhere.
Yo I’ll take it one step further. So the basic plot of Secret Wars was that it introduced the most powerful character in the Marvel universe called the Beyonder. This entity was so godlike it was just a voice in the sky, no body or nothing. It builds this planet, and then puts all the heroes and villains on it to fight just for its amusement. On one side Captain America runs shit, the other side Dr. Doom. Galactus (the former universal badass) isn’t having either side, and attempts to attack the voice in the sky, only to get swatted down like a fly. Doom’s smarter though see, and sneeky like steals the Beyonder’s power. Only problem is it’s too much power, and he can’t control it. Beyonder takes it back, then kicks everyone off the planet because they’re all free. That’s Secret Wars. It was hype back in the day.
I told you all that shit almost word for word when I came up with the name, citing all that as reasons why the name was awesome… You already had been learned.
